Summary:
The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures offers courses in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Hispanic languages, literatures and cultures. Integral to these programs are the “Language Houses”: a cluster of dormitories assigned to each language program where undergraduate students live on the William & Mary campus; these dormitories are part of a residence hall known as the Global Village. Each Language House hosts an International Fellow with native or near-native proficiency in the target language and serves as a cultural ambassador for their country and language. The International Fellow encourages active use of the target language and assists in organizing and supporting cultural activities that include, but are not limited to, weekly conversation hours for students at different proficiency levels, film nights, cultural celebrations, cooking classes, and other events among Houses.
The International Fellow lives in a single room within the Global Village and shares communal spaces (such as living room, kitchen, and gender-neutral single-use hall bathrooms) with students. Students in these houses are expected to speak the target language in their daily social encounters in the House.
The International Fellow has educational/cultural, public relations/liaison, and administrative responsibilities while living in the House. The Fellow will work with the Faculty House Advisor to coordinate House activities that meet the needs of the residents. In addition to expanding program visibility on campus as well as on social media platforms, the Fellow may be asked to assist the language program in organizing receptions for visiting speakers or artists, lectures, film showings, dinners, study abroad orientation sessions, and other joint events held either at the House, on campus, or in the community at large.

A few of the primary responsibilities include:
Provides excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
Supports the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings.
Counts, measures, and packages medication in the appropriate container under pharmacists supervision and final approval to accurately fill prescriptions.
Inputs prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies.
Applicants must:
Be at least 18 years of age;
Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
