We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our Twist Bioscience Operations Team in South San Francisco. The Manufacturing Associate, will perform basic molecular biology workflows in a highly automated, high-throughput manner and will be responsible for the manufacture of variety of custom products. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, be very neat and organized, have the ability to follow established SOPs and complete manufacturing batch records to contribute to the daily production schedule.The ideal candidate will be driven and will do what it takes to keep manufacturing on track in a fast paced start-up environment. Operate laboratory equipment and liquid handling robots such as Hamilton Stars, bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, Illumina Next-Gen sequencers etc.) Effectively use molecular and cell biology processes and techniques, especially PCR, DNA quantitation, purification and cloning. Maintain thorough, accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed using existing document templates and software applications. Update and write work instructions and documentation. Work independently and in a safe manner. Pay great attention to details and perform consistent work without excessive supervision. Help Leads and Supervisors with troubleshooting and the handling of process deviations. Package and/or organize products for shipping. Work according to Good Manufacturing and ISO practices. In this position, you will play a key role on the Sales team, acting as the main scientific contact for major pharmaceutical, biotech, and related companies. Your primary responsibility will be to help boost Twist's market presence with key accounts in areas such as antibody production, variant libraries, oligo pools, gene synthesis and biopharmaceutical antibody discovery and optimization. We are looking for passionate customer support representatives to join our rapidly expanding team. You will be responsible for delivering concierge-level, white glove support to our customers and differentiating Twist Bioscience as a biotech industry leader. You'll interact, support and build strong relationships with a wide range of sales staff including account managers, field application scientists and technical support specialists. You'll also support a broad range of customers who are engaged in ground-breaking genetics research. Your goal is to achieve high customer satisfaction scores, drive loyalty to Twist Bioscience's products, and reinforce the quality of our brand. What You'll Be Doing: * Respond to and resolve product, service and order inquiries and problems via email, chat and phone by: * identifying the cause of the problem * collaborating with other stakeholders to develop a solution * presenting the solution to the customer * following up to ensure the customer is completely satisfied. * Process sales purchase orders by entering and validating the accuracy of the information provided by customers and sales staff. Resolve any errors effectively and efficiently. Some orders require an advanced understanding of Twist's product line to process. * Provide information and guidance to help customers: * decide which product to buy * navigate and use our ecommerce website * understand the status of their order * Stay current on the status of key account orders currently in the production pipeline and provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders. * Generate sales quotes for sales reps within Salesforce quote to cash system. * For Singapore position: In addition to responsibilities listed above, provide guidance on Asia region import / export logistics and compliance. * Flexible work hours are preferred; will be supporting different time zones. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our Twist Bioscience Operations Team in South San Francisco. The Manufacturing Associate, will perform basic molecular biology workflows in a highly automated, high-throughput manner and will be responsible for the manufacture of variety of custom products. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, be very neat and organized, have the ability to follow established SOPs and complete manufacturing batch records to contribute to the daily production schedule.The ideal candidate will be driven and will do what it takes to keep manufacturing on track in a fast paced start-up environment. Shift Hours: 1A - Sunday-Tuesday, Alt Wed (7:00am-7:30pm) Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Manufacture high quality custom products in a high throughput MFG lab according to established SOPs. * Operate laboratory equipment and liquid handling robots such as Hamilton Stars, bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, Illumina Next-Gen sequencers etc.) * Effectively use molecular and cell biology processes and techniques, especially PCR, DNA quantitation, purification and cloning. * Maintain thorough, accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed using existing document templates and software applications. * Update and write work instructions and documentation. * Work independently and in a safe manner. * Pay great attention to details and perform consistent work without excessive supervision. * Help Leads and Supervisors with troubleshooting and the handling of process deviations. * Package and/or organize products for shipping. * Work according to Good Manufacturing and ISO practices. Instrument Software Engineer - (onsite in South San Francisco) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Instrument Software Engineer to join our manufacturing technology team in South San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will design and develop internal software for laboratory instruments, interface with our Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and implement tools to streamline manufacturing workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain software that controls and communicates with laboratory instruments.
