ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) Complete daily tasks assigned Maintain settings on equipment per Supervisor and Lead specifications Report mechanical and electrical equipment problems to Supervisor Perform routine maintenance on department equipment such as lubricating, cleaning, and repair Perform cross-training on all job requirements Maintain good housekeeping practices instructed by Supervisor and Lead Man Maintain and enforce company safety rules: (IE LOTO, PPE, and Machine Guarding. The Laborer is responsible for supporting plant operations in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production floor. Shift Hours: Monday - Friday. First Shift (7:00 am to 3:45 pm) How you will make an impact: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily: Performing manual material separation for processing. Removing non-compliant materials during the sorting process. Handling and storage of incoming materials in the appropriate area of the plant. General plant housekeeping. Reporting equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staff. What you need to succeed: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 0-2 years experience in an industrial environment. Experience working in a fast paced environment. Required Skills: High awareness of safety at all times. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate equipment properly and safely. Strict adherence to OSHA and company policies.
