This is a Temp to Perm position. Successful candidate will be placed in an open Labor PR02 position at the conclusion of the assignment.
SUMMARY TASKS: This position is responsible for building totes, breaking down totes, moving pallets weighing up to 95 lbs., palletizing/stacking 40 lbs. boxes up to 10 stacks high and using water hose to keep work area clean and clear of debris/product. This position will be exposed to a work environment with temperatures ranging from 55 to 80 degrees, wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, concrete floors and noise levels that are loud enough to require hearing protection. Must be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs. and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 8 to 12 hours. Must be willing to use a utility knife, hand jack and strapping gun. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Overview:
Under the direction of Plant Controller, oversees the production activity at the Fort Smith facility, 2 warehouses and 2 co-packers, including daily production entry and review, along with inventory reconciliation of WIP and FG items owned by these respective departments, co-packers and warehouses. Responsible for EAM Balancing as well as reviewing cycle counts in QAD.
Review and enter production activity daily with timeliness and accuracy.
This includes daily analysis of all operations for each of these departments and co-packers.
When source data that has been uploaded at daily site-cutoff is unreasonable (not in alignment with designated standard performance), investigation ensues via inventory/manual transaction activity review in AS400 and communication with department supervision to ensure most accurate data is loaded into QAD.
Responsible for managing weekly and quarterly cycle counting requirements, which also includes reviewing and investigating material variances.
Review, analyze and perform daily inventory reconciliations between QAD and Oracle to verify accuracy of data transfer between the two systems.
Reconciliations are to be completed for all production lines at Fort Smith as well as two co-packers and two warehouses.
For items present on this reconciliation, further investigation of inventory/manual transaction activity in QAD/Oracle is required to determine if backdated/erroneous production or receipt entries need to be corrected.
Review, analyze, and perform daily inventory reconciliation between AS400 and QAD to verify accuracy of production reporting and inventories for all departments and co-packers.
Items present on this reconciliation require further investigation of inventory/manual transaction activity in AS400 to determine if backdated production/usage/product write-off activity was completed by operations and/or shipping personnel.
QAD true-up then needs to be completed via production cancellation/re-entry or manual cycle count to accurately reflect inventory levels.
Facilitates cross-functional involvement (operations and purchasing) to explain variances and review data for accuracy (i.e. BOM's, waste factors, etc.).
Review and analyze the daily inventory reconciliations between EAM and Oracle to verify accuracy of data transfer between the two systems.
Create journal entries at the direction of the controller
Month-End reconciliation on general ledger accounts.
This is done for all mechanical parts at Fort Smith. If differences are identified, they must research and resolve the issue in order to get the inventories back in line with the general ledger.
Establish and maintain internal controls consistent with corporate requirements and good business practice. Ensure inventory controls are working effectively.
Provide leadership for financial integrity, strong controls and transactional activities, including SAP daily/weekly/monthly responsibilities.
Ensure safe work environment for self and others by complying with all safety rules, requirements, and programs, as well as making suggestions to improve safety of the facility and personnel
Support plant Quality, high performance culture and continuous improvement programs through active participation in QRMP, Quality Management Systems and plant productivity programs

Job Summary
Responsible for the scheduling of feed deliveries to turkey farms. Verifies, maintains, and enters records, such as drug inventory, production data, daily sales, flock feed, withdrawals, ingredients, deliveries, etc.
Key Responsibilities
* Receives and enter feed orders in relevant system(s). Assigns loads to drivers for delivery.
* Verifies, maintains, and keys accurate and organized records, reports, and logs (i.e. production, inventory, receiving, shipping, control room data, feed formulas, etc.). Assists with audits and other compliance checks.
* Compiles, verifies, records, maintains, distributes, and tracks data and documentation. Ensures all necessary documentation is accurately maintained and stored.
* Creates and distributes basic reports for sales, inventory, reclaim and transfer activity, grower ordering patterns, etc.
* Uses system to generate reports for previous day shipments, rebuild history and projections, previous week feed shipments, and Flock Detail Report.
* Maintains open communication between growers and the feed mill, including delivery schedule and those who appear on the Project report as being low on feed and inventories of feed at end of sale. Assists growers in calculating the amount of feed needed.
* Verifies and communicates any withdrawal requirements or feed issues for flocks to be processed.
* Prints feed tickets and distributes to control room for shipping to the farms.
* Resolves any feed shipment issues that arise at month end close.
* Handles preparation and attachment of required forms and drug tags for new formulas and verification of drug levels. Notes special medications on tickets and verifies farm bins are empty.
* Updates relevant systems with new feeding programs, consumption tables, and information from
* growers.

About the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (MAP)
The Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (MAP) is a unique opportunity for a limited number of qualifying individuals to participate in a hands-on, practical application learning initiative intended to compliment the apprentice's academic coursework by working side-by-side with maintenance leaders and subject matter experts at a Butterball plant/facility. The apprenticeship opportunity is available on a part-time (25 hours per week) or full-time basis (40 hours per week).
Part-Time: Designed with the traditional student in mind, the part-time approach allows you to compliment your academic learnings with all aspects of our practical application apprenticeship program. (25 hours/week).
Full-Time: Designed for those who have recently completed their technical education, the full-time approach allows you to supplement the apprenticeship program with additional hours working in support of the facility's ongoing maintenance needs (40 hours per week).
Semester 1
Apprentices accepted into the program will work at the Butterball plant nearest their educational institution for a period of one semester, lasting 14 weeks. During Semester 1, each apprentice will engage in a structured, hands-on learning program.
Semester 2
A select group of apprentices, having successfully completed Semester 1 and proven their competency in the required areas, will be invited to participate in the Semester 2 capstone of the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (MAP), lasting 16 weeks.
Full-time Employment Opportunity
Those remaining apprentices, having successfully completed both Semester 1 and Semester 2, will be eligible to join Butterball as a full-time maintenance technician.
Paid Apprenticeship

Conduct training for other associates in area of responsibility.
Manage spare parts and standby equipment for assigned equipment.

As a Sanitation Worker, you will be trained on the proper techniques of cleaning production equipment, machines and work areas of our food manufacturing facility. Job Summary
Guides the day-to-day activities of a team responsible for the maintenance and operations of the Feed Mill, including preventive maintenance, housekeeping, ingredient receiving, feed manufacturing, feed loadout and delivery, quality control, and optimizing production and maintenance costs. * Ensures the execution of housekeeping programs, monitors good housekeeping practices, and supervises maintenance of the Feed Mill equipment in a manner that ensures a clean environment throughout Mill.
* Supervises and documents the execution of the preventative maintenance program at the Feed Mill. Coordinates repairs ensuring minimal downtime.
* Maintains accurate records, including inventory, production reports, safety audits, etc.
