Job Summary: Fills tickets for the Weave Room for orders to be woven. Tools and Equipment used: Pen, Filling buggy/pin truck, Cherry Picker, Tablet or scan gun Essential Functions: Perform the following duties according to IS0 9001 work instructions and standards: Determine order to be filled from Supervisor and/or printed ticket. Record loom# obtained and # of tickets to be filled. Obtain yarn from bins. Match filling lots to minimize cloth defects associated with shade changes. Use piece cones when possible, but make sure lots are not mixed if a (X) is present. If mixed lots are allowed, follow all guidelines for proper filling of order. Fill ticket as specified. Be sure there is a sufficient amount of the correct yarn colors to complete the order. Make sure all SAP transactions are performed correctly and yarn is properly adjusted. Take yarn to the Transport staging area to be taken to the loom by the Transporter. Keep yarn bins clean and in order when filling tickets. Make sure to bag all “white” yarn.
