Weekends off and early start and end times.
Everything else not mentioned in the pros. There is no tool allowance, there is no real training to speak of, they lie to your face about pay and unions. If you have absolutely no other choice...
The ONLY perk is the gross Bbq every month. Yeah... they got benefits... I guess... Although not really.
I don't know jack about the CEO
I would give all the mechanics fair pay. We should also unionize. That would improve the company culture by leaps and bounds.
I showed up.
It is EXTRMELY lower than most. Most places in the area pay 24 to start for the same job title.
It diverse. Especially in the pay grades!
When its over,(a.k.a Clocking Out!!!!!!)!!!!!
25 years with company. So that should tell u something. A good company to work for
Working with the new people I guess it’s the new generation lazy and they don’t do nothing about it. It’s kinda like Union, but we’re not. Lol.
My vacation
Treat you like family
I would do something about the retirement they could help out with 401(k) like do some matching or something cannot depend on the shares they give you it’s like taking your money to the dog track it’s not like we get a pension
I didn’t
It’s taking me 25 years to get where I’m at and it kind of sucks now because you can walk in next-door, another company shop and start out at the same pay
The old saying that Uhaul is, if you don’t like it, give it a day or two cause it sure will change and I love to learn new stuff
One of the best companies to work for. A lot of opportunities to move your way up into management.. JOE (ceo) take care of his employees very well and treats them like family. Also uhaul has some of the best benefits In the country.
Could pay a little bit better for the salary position.
For my position is the opportunity to build relationships with new businesses that partner up with U-haul
What I like about the leader ship here at uhaul. Is they always have your back when you are in a situation and had to make a call on the fly. Even if it’s a wrong decision we will talk about it and make the right decision next time.
Pay better for the manager. That put many, many hours in to help our customer.
No
Decent salary for my position
Management isn’t always the best or most organized. Foster an environment of distrust among employees. Telling on one another is encouraged. Doesn’t have a “teamwork” vibe.
I make decent money especially for a woman in the workforce
Customer service
Not enough hours
When I go to lunch I don't have to punch in or out
Wfh
No benefits for part time employees, can't call in sick without dr notes, if you can in same day, you get a final notice. can't request off half the dates of every month due to black out dates, poor discounts, low pay, unreasonable workload, absolutely unreasonable attendance policy, required to watch hours upon hours of anti union propaganda, required to work all holidays, no exceptions, etc etc etc

Team work and intergrity
Delayed payment, no allowance, poor transportation facilities
Passion, intergrity, teamwork and cooperation, customer care, effectiveness in communication
Time went fast. Very fast paced.
The pay sucks.
Use of equipment at little cost
Social interactions with customers and co-workers.
Lower pay.
They offer health insurance.
The employee training.
I can't really say specific. Every company has its challenges.
Vacation time and Health Benefits.
There is much loyalty to their employees. They invest into each person and grow them. Low turnover, people usually retire from this company. I like that the CEO and all upper management values family and is flexible with family matters. It's run like a small business and skill is valued. I honestly feel they are fair with giving women opportunities, it's not misogynistic whatsoever.
Like most big corporations, some departments promote based on who you know. There are a lot of politics and favoritism. Pay is low and the few who get paid decent have to be persistent to get it. Not much racial diversity, however, I also don't feel like they discriminate. Vacation/Sick time off lacks and there is not 401K.
Good health insurance and a lot of good people working for the company.
Amazing company For part timers/professionals looking for income . As a public servant (speech therapist) this is the best part time flexible and family oriented company. Very understanding and very fun.
Software often difficult to navigate
the benefits and the manager
certain people gossip and dont mind there business
dental and vision benefits
Job security
Management does not care about their employees. They know most of the people need the paycheck so they take advantage.
