Heritage Bank Center company history timeline
The Rock concert held on 9th September 1975, featuring the Allman Brothers Band along with the special guest Muddy Waters was the first show staged in this arena which was witnessed by around 16,721 spectators.
Elvis Presley performed in a concert hosted by the venue on 25th June 1977.
Heritage Bank was founded in 1990 by Arnold Caddell, one of Northern Kentucky’s most respected entrepreneurs and philanthropists.
The arena was virtually rebuilt in 1997.
In 1997, $14 million were spent on this arena for its refurbishment by Doug Kirchhofer who was the owner of the Cincinnati Cyclones.
In May 2012, the Minnesota Legislature and the Minneapolis City Council approved funding for the new $975 million multi-purpose stadium to replace the Metrodome.
United States Bank Stadium opened on July 22, 2016, with a two-day, public open house welcoming over 190,000 Minnesotans through its doors.
The NAACP Convention in 2016 brought over $4 million to the region, while the American Legion Convention the same year brought over $10 million.
