Act as trusted advisor to Business Line (BL) first line of Defense (1LoD) and Chief Risk Office (CRO) colleagues for projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Facilitate the identification of gaps and drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors. Ensure the active identification, documentation and challenge or escalation of risks and their controls as appropriate. May influence policies and procedures to maximize profit potential and minimize regulatory exposure. Accountable for an effective partnership with 1LoD/CRO teams and with Risk Managers across other product and regulatory disciplines.
