U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer -- Cloud (Azure) in McLean, VA.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer -- Cloud (Azure) will design and build solutions with an engineering mindset to improve observability, resiliency, performance, and scalability. Responsibilities include: Lead the migration of critical on-premise systems to Microsoft Azure cloud computing service, including virtual private network (VPN), identity management, Application Programming Interface (API) gateways, directory services, service buses, queuing services and more; Participate in functional and business requirements gathering, collaborating with Business stakeholders and Enterprise system architects to understand evolving business needs and convert to technical specifications; Design and develop of TIBCO web services for various business applications using middleware Integration tools like TIBCO BWCE, Java Springboot, Cassandra CQL database and TIBCO EMS; Design and develop processes to implement a centralized orchestration layer in private cloud to manage the end-to-end process of document generation, storage, and distribution by building microservices via REST and GraphQL APIs; Mentor and lead infrastructure teams on cloud readiness, infrastructure as code, configuration as code, and agile methodology; Create optimal technical design and build solutions adhering to architectural best practices, taking into account scalability, reliability and performance of systems. Basic Qualifications:
Requires at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a technical lead, software engineer, or related.
Required Skills/Experience:

Must possess 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience with all of the following: (a) Gathering functional and business requirements to convert to technical specifications; (b) Designing and developing TIBCO web services for various business applications using middleware integration tools including TIBCO Business Works Container Edition (BWCE), TIBCO EMS, and Splunk; (c) Troubleshooting and fixing critical production issues, incident management, change service requests, and configuration management in TIBCO Business Works; (d) Validating and verifying TIBCO web services and interfaces during change request implementation; (e) Validating and verifying TIBCO services, API Gateway interfaces and APIs in post-production deployment; and (f) Development activities such as coding, code reviews, and automation of processes. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.
Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $129,359 - $194,500.

**Your Role Level**
