There is no shortage of challenging projects.
The biggest thing I don't like about US Cellular is business people being hired in technical positions who are not technical but think they are. As a result, some bad decisions are made where technical people wind up cleaning up their mess.
There are three nice benefits of this company. The company matches up to 5% on its 401k plan, it's one of the few companies that still offers a pension plan, and the bonuses are very nice.
It is very nice working with customers and helping them find products to fit their needs. I felt knowledgeable and well trained.
The atmosphere is very cult like - live and die by it!
