My favorite benefit was the Census was the time off and sick leave amounts.

In the Field entire shift and enjoy meeting new people everyday.
The only think about my position with the US Census is that , our contract ended over two months early due to political reasons and funding.
Favorite perk is the freedom to start and finish the day as I chose.
Dealing with people, traveling, being outside and helping others
Nothing, honestly there was nothing.
Government job
Flexible schedule, rewarding work, great supervisors who were helpful and reassuring, solid pay
Hours per week were always dependent on the amount of work, so workload/pay was very inconsistent
Civic engagement!
Assisting employees with their payroll questions, selecting, interviewing and hiring a potential employee.
It only lasted 20 months. My position was extended every 8 weeks.
The hours and the salary
Working in the communities and helping people understand the importance of the Census.
I personally enjoyed working with the Enumerators I managed and I don't have any things I didn't like about it.
Being a manager and working remotely. I enjoyed training the Enumerators every day.
Management rewarded self-starters, collaboration with fellow team members, variation in workdays. I was given more responsibility once they determined I had an excellent work ethic and professionalism.
The process of distributing the addresses to enumerate was flawed in that multiple workers would get units in the same building...which made it difficult to work with the property manager. The outcome was a collaboration with other team workers and good communication amongst management to shift assignments.
Flexibility in the workweek and ability to work at home for part of the assignment.
Interact with people on a day to day basis
Nothing I disliked about my job.
Differential weekend pay
The money was really good
No one knew what they were doing and things/rules changed multiple times a day. No training to do job specific tasks
There were no perks other than assurance of being still employed thru COVID shut down and getting weekly pay
Flexibility to take the lead on assigned cases and working them to completion
Some of the risks involved with working cases in high-crime neighborhoods
Getting to meet new people and helping others
Great scheduling and I'm good at my job.
Pay. I see doggies and cats all day long.
GREAT Team, OUTSTANDING experience with local Partners
Only one year
I am in charge of the partners I engaged to promote the Census
The importance of the results
Not applicable
Working with an assorted amount of public
