What You'll Do:

You will:
Provide Primary and Family evidenced -based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.
Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routing examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes
Perform duties including s peaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
E ncourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice preferred.
Active Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing
Provide holistic, evidenced -based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
O rder and administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires .
Education:
Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
Or in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related master's degree or equivalent experience together with Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$41.85 - $90.13
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

* Perform selective medical and surgical services under the direction of POSC Physician/s.
* Function as a surgical first assist.
* Act as a role model for positive professional behavior at all times.
* Completes patient notes, op reports and other administrative tasks to insure accurate, timely and complete records for patient safety and billing purposes.
* Perform rounding at facilities as assigned..
* Provide clinical care to postoperative patients.
* Assist with marketing efforts that are determined by the POSC Marketing Director and POSC physicians.
* Assist in direct communication with other healthcare providers in a professional manner and representing POSC in a positive light.
* Participation in monthly Scientific Meeting as well as regularly scheduled PA and/or service line meetings.
Other Functions:

Requirements
Education:

Skills:

We are seeking a clinic based APP for Tanner Health's General Cardiology service. The APP will join a multi-provider team of physicians and other APP's who reports to the Executive Director at Tanner Heart and Vascular Specialist. Additionally, this position will provide 1 weekend of inpatient service every 4th week. There will be two days off during the week the inpatient service is provided. Tanner Heart and Vascular Specialist is part of Tanner Medical Group which consists of 42 individual practices and has approximately 270 total providers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clinic
Obtain patient history and or x-rays.
Schedule diagnostic studies/surgery and obtain pre-certifications for same.
Prepare and assist/administer injections/aspirations.
Obtain specimen for laboratory and complete required forms.
Application/removal of casts, splints, and braces.
Perform dressing changes and remove sutures/staples.
Perform minor office procedures.
Complete DME charge and/or Physical Therapy referral.
Complete return to work slips and distribute appropriately.
Complete applications for Handicap Parking permits.
Provide patients with educational materials regarding surgery/diagnostic studies or equipment/casts.

Prescribe medications.
