Your role in helping us shape the future: U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. In this position, you will have the opportunity to leverage your strengths and skills to help people make smart decisions in their everyday lives. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales, Health to join our team. As a Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving top line revenue growth by expanding our Health related advertising and marketing solutions business as well as strategic sponsorships. You will work closely with the product team to inform the development of new commercial offerings based on market feedback. You will help to create a clear value proposition for USN Health for the market and bring best-in-class sales leadership experience to the organization. Are you up to the challenge? * Build, oversee and execute strategies to drive new business growth in the health industry, all while still growing the existing account base. * Coach and develop sales teams to clearly articulate the value proposition and improve the understanding of the Health market. * Lead team performance; actively participate in sales meetings with your team, focused on new business growth, product revenue performance, and revenue retention. * Review and optimize pricing strategies for existing and new marketing solutions. * Prospect, research and craft outreaches to secure meetings and RFPs. * Track pipeline and revenue performance, including, but not limited to lead generation, pipeline conversion rates, deal velocity as well as forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goal achievement. * Collaborate with the product team on advertising opportunities and create a clear and consistent marketing pitch. * Work cross functionally with internal stakeholder teams, including Marketing and Sales, product, finance, and operations to ensure workflows and execution align to support client retention efforts. * Attend industry conferences to connect with key clients at scale and expand relationships. * Build and foster team culture in a hybrid work environment. * Elevate and train members of the team to further knowledge and skills. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and needs.

Your role in helping us shape the future: This is a great opportunity for an early-career journalist who wants a range of experiences at a national digital news outlet. You will learn: about our unique and highly respected brand of journalism; the tools and strategies that power a major media brand on the cutting edge of the information age; effective headline writing that maximizes SEO; and how to produce and illustrate articles in our content management system. We're looking for someone to write items for newsletters and to report out rankings-related stories for our Best Countries and Best States sections. We also want someone who has strong social media skills, including making video content for TikTok and visually compelling posts for Instagram. Experience with data visualization and graphic design is a huge plus. Are you up to the challenge? * Write articles for certain "Best" sections.
