Overview
Working from our Manassas office but mainly in the field meeting property owners at their property. Using an approved methodology, you will secure access (Right-of-Way) to private property so that our client can place power lines underground lessening the likelihood of a power outage during inclement weather.
Responsibilities
* A Right-of-Way Agent is assigned specific areas and uses pre-surveyed plans, working independently, to secure permits and other agreements to place power lines and equipment on and/or thru private property.
* Identify areas where access issues require modifications to the field-engineering plan and secure additional permits as needed.
* Through mailings, calling and visiting to individual property owners, secure signed permissions (Right-of-Way) and submit for client approval.
* Multiple visits may be required until all approvals and /or documentation are secured.
Qualifications
* No previous Right of Way experience required for this position.
* High school certification required; Associates Degree preferred.
* Prior Real Estate, customer service, consulting, or sales experience a plus

Overview
The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) manages large projects and proposals of high risk and significant complexity for the Power Delivery, Field Services, Construction Management and System Studies practices in the Energy Sector. The Sr.PM manages assigned projects from the proposal stage through project completion. The Sr.PM will ensure appropriate resources are assigned to the project and manage resources through the completion and issue of client deliverables on time and on budget as dictated by project scope and schedule. The Sr.PM is responsible for managing project budget and schedule via the change management process and keeping the project accounting system current with project contract value and estimate at completion values. Will be required to direct the activities of an Associate Project Manager or Project Coordinator. The Sr. Project Manager will maintain a high degree of external and internal customer service via clear and timely verbal and written communication and project reporting.

Responsibilities
* Senior Project Manager is responsible to lead large project teams in successful execution of large projects of significant complexity, risk and breadth, acting as primary project advocate and point of communication.
* Senior Project Manager will be expected to be able to execute projects that include multiple site locations and direct a diverse project team located in multiple remote offices and locations.
* Direct the project related activities of a Project Coordinator and/or an Associate Project Manager
* Project proposal development for projects of significant including:
* Ensure a clear understanding by all disciplines of project scope and terms
* Facilitate the proposal development including, complex project execution plans, estimation, compilation and on time delivery ensuring all requirements are met
* Facilitate a legal review by TRC Legal Staff prior to contract signing
* Facilitating competitive quotes for multiple subcontracted service and material procurement
* Compiling project risks and effectively evaluating probability, impact and planning for mitigation and contingency
* Planning and developing strategic project cash flows
* Project resource management including ensuring adequate resources are assigned to the project, monitoring and reporting of man-hours against budget, subcontractor management and procurement execution and tracking. Ability to manage multiple remote resources and coordinate activities across multiple offices
* Project financial management
* Ensure the project's budgeted costs and profits are met or improved. Ability to strategize and implement methodology to increase project margins
* Ensure timely and comprehensive change order management
* Establishment and maintenance of project cash flows
* Facilitate efficient and strategic project billing, working within company's accounting practices
* Able to implement earned value tracking and cost performance reporting
* Project schedule management including the development and upkeep of project schedules for projects of complexity. Ability to understand and schedule project construction including sequencing of critical milestones. Implement and/or direct the development of resource and cash loaded schedules.
* Understand the requirements of Power Delivery Quality Control Program and ensure appropriate time, resources and schedule milestones are included in project planning and adherence during project execution.
* Project administration including the proper capture and filing off all project documentation including, contracts documents, invoices, meeting minutes, project reports and communications
* Effectively communicate to the client, project team and TRC management including timely accurate internal and external reporting, executing effective efficient project meetings and ensuring communication between all project disciplines.
* Project safety, demonstrating safety is a priority via safety leadership, adherence to TRC and client safety policies.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business or Construction Management from an accredited school or University is required. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is required
Experience: A minimum of 8 years' related experience is required, 12 years' is preferred
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to deal with internal/external clients.
Strong attention to detail to quality control the projects and submit required deliverables.
Experience with appropriate software tools (Microsoft Office, MS Project).
Demonstrated experience managing successful projects of significant complexity and breadth

* Assist in developing project specific testing and commissioning plans, energization plans, or any other assigned project specific documentation

Battelle's National Security Business Unit is seeking experienced **Geospatial Researchers/Data Scientists** to support cutting-edge research and development activities for the Army Geospatial Center and ERDC's Geospatial Research Laboratory. This position is remote, with flexible work location, and supports client activities at Ft. Belvoir, VA. **Responsibilities**
+ Establish and administer effective strength and conditioning protocols designed to maximize the physical performance of SOF personnel, with priority on SOF Operators and Direct Combat Support personnel
+ Provide and perform the following services in support of POTFF's HP program for SOF personnel, with priority on SOF Operators and Direct Combat Support personnel:
+ Design, administer, evaluate, and document the effects of physical training protocols under the supervision of the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator
+ Coordinate training programs with HP staff to ensure a safe and expeditious return to training of SOF personnel recovering from injury
+ Design and implement physical training programs for personnel who are TDY/TAD or deployed under the supervision of the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator
+ Demonstrate and provide instruction and guidance on physical training, exercises, movements, and injury avoidance
+ Refer all personnel with a new or undiagnosed medical condition to a medical provider for evaluation and treatment

**Job Summary**
A senior level nuclear engineer with an operational background is needed to develop program policy, procedural, and internal controls documentation in support of implementing microreactor technology (reactors rated below 20 megawatts electric (MWe)). Noting the development and testing of the DoD "Project Pele" demonstration program, the Army is considering follow-on deployment of microreactor technology. This microreactor technology leverages recent advances in designs to provide a transportable electric power system producing between 1-10 MW of electricity for expeditionary support and 24/7 installation power for mission critical loads.
The advanced microreactor program is managed under the DoD Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO). The Assistant Secretary of the Army for Infrastructure, Energy and Environment (ASA IE&E), in partnership with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Office of the Chief of Engineers (OCE), is responsible for the Army Nuclear Power Management Program and is ramping up to meet a wide range of installation, operational, engineering, logistic regulatory certification and permitting requirements for future implementation of microreactor technology in accordance with Army Regulation 50-7 "Army Reactor Program" consistent with recently issued Executive Order (EO) 14304: Deploying Advanced Nuclear Reactor Technologies for National Security.
Program plan documentation preparation requires leveraging and integration of information and knowledge from participating government organizations within DoD, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and other Federal and State agencies, and Army agencies involved in implementing nuclear energy technology. Nuclear Power Program policy and guidelines documentation spans reactor operational and quality assurance and system management to safety, security, and environmental controls.

Additionally, the position serves as a liaison to command leadership, supports family and career transition activities, implements social and psychological programs, and ensures effective communication and emergency response awareness across multiple levels and locations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for comprehensive and effective coordination, development, and evaluation of programs and services that contribute directly and positively to resiliency of the assigned unit's force and families
+ Organize and oversee peer support networks for their assigned commands
+ Recruit active-duty and family member peer support counselors
+ Ensure participating peer support counselors are vetted and trained according to USSOCOM CPPNC standards
+ Responsible for collecting and reporting data for the purposes of formative and outcome evaluations of peer support programs and other community-based support programs
+ Collect original data and data from secondary sources in support of program assessments, including, focus group and/or unit meetings convened by leadership, POTFF Family Resilience Program evaluation results, trend information from POTFF Psychologist, Chaplains, Ombudsmen, or Family Readiness Group (FRG) staff
+ Support commands at multiple levels and in multiple locations
+ Identify and document program/service needs and evaluation data
+ Develop needs-based programming to service specific demographic groups and geographic locations
+ Maintain an extensive knowledge of DoD resources, such as the Military OneSource, Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC), Personal Financial Counselors (PFC), and Military Crisis Line
+ Lead and/or assist in the coordination and/or development of official processes, functions and networking opportunities for subpopulation served
+ Establish, maintain, and report activity of peer counseling networks for supported unit's Service members and family member spouses
+ Report activity using specified reporting tool and frequency identified by the Social Performance program manager or other POTFF staff as required

**Key Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in education, human/social services or related field or four years' experience providing social service education, or work/family life consultation or coordination services
+ At least two years' experience coordinating social service education programs
+ Prior training or willing to receive specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals and suicide prevention
+ Maintain current knowledge of best practices and developments in areas of peer support counseling and suicide prevention, and keep abreast of DoD, Services and community sponsored resources intended to promote the wellbeing of service members and their families

**Responsibilities**
+ Functions as the coordinating technical expert for the Human Performance program in locations or within units/groups where an HP program Manager and/or Coordinator is/are not available
+ If required, assist the HP Manager (Government representative) in the performance of their duties
+ Perform the following services POTFF's HP program for SOF personnel, with priority on SOF Operators and Direct Combat Support personnel:
+ Plan, develop and synchronize technical training, guidance, and programmatic and policy recommendations
+ Secure, protect, and enhance the readiness of all operators across the range of military operations
+ Design, implement, document, and provide direct daily oversight of all human performance services utilizing a demonstrably methodical approach for the required level of peak performance and reconditioning of all SOF operators, while providing ongoing, objective feedback to the HP lead, POTFF lead, and chain of command

TRC is currently seeking a Senior Professional Engineer to support our Solid Waste projects with our Southeast Engineering and Remediation team. The ideal candidate must have 7+ years of solid waste experience and a must have a Professional Engineering License (PE) in Virginia; North Carolina preferred.
The position may report to any of our offices in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia.
The position provides opportunities for engineering design including detail preparation, land grading, stormwater calculations, report writing, permit application preparation and construction quality control. Projects include, but are not limited to, the design and permitting of landfills, transfer stations, convenience centers, recycling facilities, and composting operations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include engineering design, team support, and project management on a variety of waste resources engineering projects, with a particular focus on landfill design, landfill gas systems, landfill leachate systems, construction planning and oversite, landfill closure, landfill operations, landfill post closure care, transfer station design, MRF design, and recycling centers.

Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil & gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.
TRC is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Solid Waste) to join our Southeast ECC division. The ideal candidate must have 5-10 years of solid waste experience and must have a Professional Engineering License (PE) in Virginia; North Carolina preferred.
The position is based out of one of our Virginia or North Carolina locations.
The position provides opportunities for engineering design including detail preparation, land grading, stormwater calculations, report writing, permit application preparation and construction quality control. Projects include, but not limited to, the design and permitting of landfills, transfer stations, convenience centers, recycling facilities, and composting operations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include engineering design, team support, and project management on a variety of waste resources engineering projects, with a particular focus on landfill design, landfill gas systems, landfill leachate systems, construction planning and oversite, landfill closure, landfill operations, landfill post closure care, transfer station design, MRF design, and recycling centers.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
* Professional Engineer License required; Virginia required within six months, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida are a plus and may be required in the future
* 5-10 years of landfill design experience required
* Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, preferred
