You never have to worry about getting a bad check.
Management for the most part sucks. The biggest crooks at U.S. Sugar are the team leaders. And some Management. They don't think twice before blaming it on hourly employees.
When I started working there they had a lot of good perks and benefits. But the upper management ended most of them. One of the upper management used an hourly employee on company time to restore a English war vehicle. He did it on site.
The CEO and leadership team suck. The CEO is the person that killed all the hourly employees perks. He and president took everything away. The only people that get stocks in the company anymore are team leaders up.
I believe the first thing that should be done is replace upper management. Review the lower manager spending at the wearhouse.

They are not fair with their pay scale, a 40 yr. Veteran makes less than a 6 yr. Veteran and the health insurance sucks

When a company buys another company, and that company takes benefits away and changes the pay scale to pay employees with less yrs more than employees with more yrs, the company will have troubles
