What is an uat tester and how to become one
UAT or User Acceptance Tests are tests carried out at the final stage of development of a product to determine whether the product works for the user. The product could refer to apps, software, or websites. UAT testers function as end-users during the testing period. Your job as a UAT user includes conceptualizing, developing, and organizing UAT tests. This comes after studying the project's specifications. You may also develop testing programs that assess the efficiency of the products and then document and report defects to the manufacturers. The goal is to achieve overall acceptance of the functionality and usability of the product.
The minimum required qualification to work as a UAT tester is a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related fields. Of course, a UAT tester must be skilled in UAT, UI, JIRA, and test creation. The average salary of a UAT tester is $69000. I like testing because it can be interesting. Things can change but also stay the same. I like routine but not repetition doing the same thing. Testing isn't the best job but a good job.
Some things you test can be really picky to pass. It's likely they will always fail the first time. Some test seem to always pass and seek insufficient. I always look at productivity but also efficiency. So if not necessary by customer and always passes I can't see why a part of the test he removed especially if another part of the test will fail if it does. Options I am always open to.
