We are offering up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus! The Registered MRI Technologist will support the University of Cincinnati Medical Center's Radiology Department by performing all aspects of magnetic resonance imaging according to established protocols. This includes reviewing the appropriateness and completeness of patient histories and requests for services. Operates complex imaging equipment in a safe manner and reviews films for diagnostic acceptability. Reviews and administers medications according to physician direction and provides continuous care to patients after completed procedures. Prepares and administers contrast media or medications orally and by intravenous injection. Administers or assists in administering CPR or other emergency procedures as needed. Maintains appropriate records and supplies, participates in quality control, and evaluates department, equipment, and performance for areas of improvement.
