We are looking to strengthen and support launches within the US Rare Disease Organization (RDO) we are seeking a Great Lakes Regional Sales Lead (RSL) who is committed to the Rare disease patient journey & community, innovative in identifying those who need treatment and has strong understanding of navigating Health systems in their region to join us in our Rare Disease team, based in any one of the following areas that are included in the region: Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
About the role
They will lead Account Executives to represent UCB in the communities we serve as we strive toward transforming the lives of those living with Rare Diseases. The primary responsibility of the RSL is to exceed their team's sales goals, through Project Management, Planning, Leadership, Development of the Team, and Communication. The RSL should continuously develop and expand the skill set of their team and ensure that their Field Force Team has the tools to exceed the sales goals for the region. Work well with internal and external stakeholders, understand the complexities of rare diseases, and remove barriers for their team.

What you'll do
Lead and manage all aspects of the Commercial Field Force Team which includes exceeding team sales performance goals, with the RSL having the ultimate accountability for these sales results
Direct and lead the region Account Executives to increase demand and ensure access to our product line while staying within the approved budget
Transversally orchestrate the multiple field roles point-of-sale contact that translates into optimal impact with the HCPs that improves patient care
Develop, present, and execute a comprehensive quarterly regional business plan aligned to the RDO strategic objectives. Align and cascade the plan to individual territories for implementation
Translate the RDO brand and disease state strategies into a clear, coherent, and actionable direction that results in exceeding sales goals within their region for Field Teams
Identify ethical and innovative customer-oriented strategies to adapt to changing markets
Utilize dynamic targeting and omnichannel tools to maximize impact with accounts and HCPs
Participate, collaborate, and partner with internal stakeholders to gain insights, solve challenges, and align on priorities
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and applicable legal standards and requirements

Demonstrate great commitment to the Rare Disease patient community and understand the patient journey, the barriers they face in care and treatment, and how to help them overcome those barriers
Utilize innovative methods to identify patients who need treatment
Maintain a highly tactical approach to patient access
Help patients and caregivers navigate the Healthcare System and work around roadblocks
Interested? For this role, we're looking for the following education, experience, and skills
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 10+ years of progressive successful experience in Biopharma Sales
8+ years Pharmaceutical or Biopharma Field Management Role (RSM, DSM, etc.), inclusive of 5+ years in a competitive specialty market segment
Ability to travel 75% which may include overnight and weekend travel
Preferred experience:
Pharmaceutical or Biopharma Field Management Role (RSM, DSM, etc.), as a first-line leader
Highly preferred experience with buy-and-bill medical benefits, Specialty pharmacy, and HUB delivery models
Experience/involvement in successful product launches
Success in developing Thought Leader relationships
Proficiency with digital business tools that translate into actionable strategies and successful products
Strong preference for candidates with experience in Rare Diseases, Oncology, or other indications requiring similar skills: medical knowledge, a high level of patience in interaction and support, complex treatment regimens, access, and adherence to challenges
This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $176,000 - $231,000 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
· You will answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team.
· You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
· You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.

Main Responsibilities
Brand Awareness & Intent to Treat with Endos
Build belief in Tzield mechanistic rationale and clinical narrative (e.g., MOA involving beta cell preservation, approved indication, efficacy / safety profile)
Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of key accounts across territory, including barriers to Tzield use
Contribute to priority account strategy development lead by SAMs and own execution to engage endocrinology and primary care providers on Tzield use
For non-priority Endo in territories, own the development and execution of growth-oriented account & business plans (e.g., account mapping, influence mapping, etc.)
Identify account champions / KOLs, and engage them as necessary and appropriate to communicate with peers and patients about Tzield
Screening Awareness & Development of T1D Ecosystem
Build belief in T1D early detection and importance of screening for T1D in asymptomatic, undiagnosed, early detection population
Conduct strategic planning at territory level to understand and contribute to development of broader T1D ecosystem in order to prioritize time, engagement, and education strategy
Contribute to screening strategy development and own execution to engage PCP / Ped on early detection & screening
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and educate on importance of urgent referrals for identified patients within narrow treatment window
Educate relevant stakeholders on at-risk populations, screening / monitoring best practices, and the value of early detection (e.g., DKA avoidance)
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with cross-functional Sanofi teams to support customers

About You
Qualifications
B.A. / B.S. degree required
3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device sales experience

Proven results of increasing educational awareness, provider adoption and customer engagement
Experience successfully launching products in the field
Experience collaborating and working in a matrix environment across multiple different sales, medical and support functions

Phlebotomist
About the role:

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
· You will greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
· You will perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
· You will monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
· You will perform all tasks required for the setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.

You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.

About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
· You will greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
· You will perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
· You will monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
· You will perform all tasks required for the setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
· You will install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines
· You will stock supplies, break down empty cartons and assist with proper disposal.
· You will take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system.
· You will perform finger sticks, test sample, and record other donor measures to include hematocrit, total protein, and weight.
· You will enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
· You will coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
· You will support the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement, initiating changes to center processes through use of company approved procedures including 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.

The Regional Sales Manager primary purpose is coaching, leading, motivating, developing and hiring sales professionals. Provide the leadership necessary to achieve sales goals for Astellas' products and services within a region. Maximize business growth through close collaboration with Area Director, Marketing, Managed Markets Manager, and Training and Development. Manage Sales Professionals and provide consistent and uniform direction to team regarding execution of sales and marketing strategies and tactics. Develop the field team within the region, focusing on managing performance and career progression. Ensure the optimal allocation of resources across the region and maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Identify and maximize talents on the team. Provide growth opportunities, development and appropriately distribute rewards/recognition and development where appropriate based on the sales professionals achievements and performance.
Coach and counsel sales professionals on improving selling skills, product knowledge, and capabilities needed for successful development. Regularly participate in field visits with sales professionals to assess their growth and development in territory management, sales strategy and approach.
Foster proactive and open communication within team and set expectations and high standards of performance for each team member. Establish and maintain an effective communication system among regional sales professionals and across regional boundaries.
Demonstrate strong and clear leadership through consistent communication and direction, and assume direct responsibility for achieving sales goals within region. Maximize productivity and sales effectiveness within region by executing sales and marketing plans and promotional activities.
Analyze selling opportunities to identify top priorities and drive market share through project implementation. Direct and align efforts related to business strategic plan; ensure that Astellas' long-term goals are achieved in region; effectively allocate resources and manage region budget; and monitor and understand sales trends and competitor activities.
Manage and understand trends and human resource needs related to recruitment, performance management, selection and development.
Lead region recruitment and development programs, suggesting improvements based on experience to achieve diversity of talent.
Provide ethical leadership and demonstrate Astellas' values by adhering to corporate policies and required sales practice regulations. Ensure each Sales Professional within region understands, accepts and adheres to the policies and procedures.
Awareness and understanding of the Corporate Strategic Plan and Organization Health Goals

Responsible for achieving 100% goal attainment for multiple products within a sales region that on average contains nine (9) territories.
Interacts with internal Astellas departments and external customers, such as Key Opinion Leaders.

About the Role
The Area Sales Director plays a critical role in creating and executing business strategies across the Dermatology product portfolio aimed at exceeding sales expectations at a national level.
