Inpatient GI/Solid Tumor, APP Job Responsibilities: Provide safe and therapeutic inpatient care in a holistic manner, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with solid tumors, with an emphasis on gastrointestinal cancers. Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, evidence-based protocols, and best practice standards. Conduct patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications (including controlled substances), and perform procedures as credentialed. Participate in patient education, family support, and coordination of care in collaboration with the inpatient and multidisciplinary team.
