Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited speech-languagepathologist program
License: Current SLP license in California

Major Duties
Under general supervision, the Staff Per Diem SpeechLanguagePathologist works directly with patients across the lifespan in a center-based, outpatient environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized care while also contributing to the academic mission of the department by supporting graduate student learning. The incumbent will engage in clinical practice that emphasizes evidence-based interventions, collaboration with colleagues, and professional accountability. This role allows you to make a direct difference in patient care, shape future professionals in the field, and contribute to the continued excellence of the Language, Speech and Hearing Center.
Evaluate and treat patients with speech, fluency, language, voice, cognitive, hearing, and social communication disorders.
Create and implement personalized care plans.

Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
Provide preceptorship to graduate students enrolled in the education programs of the Department of Communication Disorders and Science.

Qualifications
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Equivalent to two (2) years of experience providing patient-based services.
Valid California State License in Speech-Language Pathology- must be maintained throughout employment.
Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) - must be maintained throughout employment.
Completion of ASHA supervision requirements - must be maintained throughout employment.
