Provides leadership and direction to the revenue cycle department. Ensure all hospital accounts are billed as cleanly as possible. Ensures all claim edits, Discharge Not Billed (DNB)s and Stop Bills are worked timely. Identifies trends with payer rejections and works to understand root cause. Ensures department productivity and monitoring of work queues. Identifies training gaps and provides coaching to staff. Continuously collaborates with other leaders and vendors on workflow improvements. Reporting to the Director, the Manager, Revenue Cycle serves as a liaison to payors, revenue cycle staff and hospital clinical departments by ensuring effective communication between all parties.

Area Specific Job Accountabilities:
Ensures registrations are completed within designated period. Coordinates the daily activities of the department. Maintains a high degree of awareness and knowledge of the hospital's programs, services and staff.
Maintains current knowledge of payer requirements. Coordinates registration, insurance eligibility, pre-certification and financial counseling for all inpatients, observations, outpatient surgeries and emergency room admissions. Collaborates with other departments to assure registrations are completed prior to visit.
Collaborates with Medicaid Liaison that all Medicaid applications are referred appropriately and followed up adequately.
Develops and maintains quality indicators. Develops and implements procedures that meet hospital guidelines and department workload requirements.
Collaborates with Patient Financial Services and Managed Care to address changes in payor requirements.
Collaborates with Case Management to address patient status changes and assist with managed care denials.
Provides direct supervision to leads, registration teams and business office staff to maintain expected level of department productivity. Monitors service quality. Services as a resource person and role for Leads and role model for the registration and business office staff. Handles situations requiring leadership intervention.
Audits and analyses department data. Reviews work queues and various reports to ensure accuracy and monitor patient volume. Recognizes and reports variance of workflow activity and daily operations.
Interviews and selects prospective employees. Conducts annual performance appraisals and promotes staff development. Coordinates orientation and training of all staff. Monitors department scheduling and adjusts as appropriate.
Provides input developing department budget. Monitors budget, reports and justifies variance.
Participates in peer review activities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in health services, or a related field. Successful completion of college level coursework in Health Services or management experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Certification/Licensure/Registration: Certified Health Access Associate
Minimum five years in healthcare financial customer service, benefit verification, registration, auditing, leadership, and supervision of staff.
Thorough knowledge of registration and patient access, patient accounting, managed care and government payers, medical terminology. Strong computer skills and systems proficiency desired.
Working knowledge of hospital information systems to include electronic claims and patient accounting systems required.
Compassionate customer service skills with the ability to relate effectively with patients, families, physicians, employees and other allied health and medical center personnel.

The Financial Systems Management Workday Sr Analyst (NOT HCM) will primarily support the Finance organization's reporting needs across all sub-workstreams including, but not limited to, general accounting, accounts payable, budgeting, grants, gifts, and payroll cost allocations. This position will play a significant role in developing, designing, standardizing, and maintaining the Finance related custom reports repository and related dashboards. Job Duties:
Monitor, train, and implement future enhancements around the Payroll Cost Allocation (PCA) and Payroll Accounting Adjustment (PAA) processes
Collaborate across business and technical teams, with a focus on delivering transformational reports, in support of the Finance organization's business goals and initiatives.
Design, develop, configure, and test simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite) and dashboards utilizing Workday Report Writer access, as well as other organizational tools and available technologies.
Evolve to deliver against changing business needs and future Workday Reporting available functionalities.
Provide cross-functional understanding of financial data and its intersections and inter-dependencies across the overall Workday platform/ecosystem.
Provide technical guidance and ultimately become the subject matter expert around reports and dashboards to business and technical teams across the Finance organization.

A Brief Overview
This role is responsible for the negotiation and preparation of contracts and agreements on behalf of the Office of Collaborative and Corporate Research Contracts.
This role also will maintain agreement databases, ensure compliance with regulations, help resolve contractual issues within agreements, and assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
What you will do
This position will prepare, according to policies and procedures, the timely execution of: Confidentiality Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Data Transfer Agreements, Research Collaboration Agreements, Sponsored Research Agreements, Consortium Agreements, In-License Agreements, and other agreements.
This position will: (1) participate in the drafting, preparation, and negotiation of Inter Institutional and other agreements; (2) maintain the departmental agreement data base; (3) ensure compliance with governmental and industry regulations; (4) collaborate with contract management and institutional liaisons to resolve contractual issues within agreements; and (5) assist with development and implementation of institutional policies and procedures related to research projects requiring written contracts negotiated.
This position will also:
Collaborate with team members, individual investigators and personnel within the Hospital in the preparation and submission of agreements
Collaborate with management, internal Hospital / department personnel, and legal staff to ensure agreements internal compliance, and consistency between informed consent documents and agreements
Identify any problematic language that may require negotiation and/or input from other CHOP offices (such as Offices of Technology Transfer, Risk Management, and General Counsel); and appropriately escalate stalled contract negotiations
Maintain active communication with all stakeholders including investigators, research personnel, management, and external collaborators
Function as departmental liaison with internal Hospital staff and external corporate research sponsors
Participate in process improvement initiatives to provide internal customer service
Generate reports to measure / manage workflow efficiently and effectively
Provide documentation and reports to accounting, research and other departments for post award management and as requested
Develop and conduct contract orientations, workshops, and presentations
Enhance knowledge of agreements' academic standards, research best practices, and negotiations policies through ongoing personal development
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - Required
Doctorate Law or Jurisprudence - Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Paralegal Studies - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader to fill the role of Executive Director of Strategic Marketing. This pivotal role will drive the strategic development, execution, and optimization of comprehensive marketing efforts, clinical marketing campaigns, service line marketing campaigns, brand promotion, agency management initiatives that align with the institution's ambitious growth and business objectives. As a key member of CHLA's MarCom leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of the consumer decision journey, from awareness to loyalty, with a focus on increasing patient family, as well as developing strategic partnerships for CHLA. Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Information Security Analyst II is responsible for monitoring and addressing information security alerts, improving detection and response capabilities, and participating in efforts to streamline processes and improve efficiency. They will also be responsible for conducting security training and awareness campaigns, reporting on results, and conducting remedial training. The analyst will contribute to information security policies and standards as they are developed and maintained, in accordance with NIST CSF and HIPAA. They will be a mentor for Information Security Analyst I and peers.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
Required: 5 years of progressive experience in computing and information security, including experience with information security operations, utilization of multiple security tools to conduct investigations, and security training, preferably in a healthcare environment.
* Management of information security tools.
* Knowledge of vulnerability resolution.
* Skills in risk analysis and hands-on issue resolution.
* General awareness of NIST CSF and HIPAA security rule.
* Experience analyzing security incidents utilizing multiple security tools for discovery.

Education & Experience:
