Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of People and Culture, the Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for talent acquisition, administration of HR tasks, benefits administration and payroll, and employee engagement activities. Additionally, the HR Generalist will coordinate the President's calendar. This position will partner with department leaders and the executive team to ensure alignment with company values and goals as well as ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures.
Principle Responsibilities:
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring and onboarding of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to payroll, benefits, and leave as well as recognition and morale.
Processes semi-monthly payroll.
Administers company benefits, including new hire and open enrollment, insurance payments and reconciliations, and answers general employee questions.
Coordinates company events including annual employee appreciation party, quarterly all-hands meetings, and other events/employee morale activities.
Assists with coordination of employee travel and reimbursements.
Under the direction of the Director of People and Culture, maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Works with the Training Administrator to review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, such as new hire orientation, anti-harassment training and professional licensure.
Assist in coordination of the President's calendar, including scheduling and coordination of meetings and travel.

Develop SG&A thresholds to ensure performance against the strategy and objectives of the Company. Manage the company's borrowing base requirements, exposure limitations, and allocations based on warehouse facility requirements and covenants.
Serves as a key contact point for Warehouse Facility providers or Capital Market Partners.
Financial Controls and Compliance
Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures and strong financial controls, in accordance with GAAP, to prevent fraud, errors, and mismanagement of funds.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and accounting standards including filing taxes, facilitating third party audits, and financial reporting.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure audits are conducted properly and that any findings are fully remediated.
Leadership and Team Management
Lead the Accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity and accountability.

Position Summary
The Service Center Engineer - I.A.M. Intern will gain hands-on experience in the areas of Identity Access Management (I.A.M.) and Information Security. This role offers exposure to the tools, processes, and governance practices used to manage digital identities, system access, and security permissions across the organization. Working closely with the IT team, the intern will contribute to access control projects, automation initiatives, and documentation improvements that strengthen the bank's cybersecurity framework.
Primary Accountabilities

Our Service Center Representatives are responsible for providing an excellent client experience by meeting client needs regarding financial and service inquiries from multiple channels.
What You Will Be Doing
Support more complicated service requests that require more time, experience and knowledge on a particular product or service.
Identifies cross-sell and referral opportunities for the expansion of the product and service relationships including additional account relationships as well as other products and services offered by the bank.
Be a friendly voice/representative of First Bank, analyzing client requests, setting appropriate expectations and forwarding them to specialized Service Representative experts (Tier-3 and above) if needed.
Be resourceful in searching for answers through documentation, knowledge base, communities and provide informational request resolutions.
Contributing to the accomplishment of individual, team and First Bank performance goals
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
A minimum of 2 years client service experience and/or training, preferably in a banking environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous contact call center experience preferred.
Intermediate to advanced comprehensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and business-related software required.

What You Will Be Doing

What You Will Be Doing

Printing and mailing approval and denial letters to applicants.

A minimum of two (2) plus years' related work experience and/or training required
A minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a financial or banking mortgage department a plus
A minimum of three (3) plus years working with and/or comprehensive knowledge in conforming & non-conforming loans, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Guidelines, and any government and/or conventional, FHA or VA loans required
Proficient PC skills in a Windows based environment required; mortgage-processing software a plus

Located in St. Joseph, MO, The Community Foundation employs three staff and is governed by a Board of Directors that includes 18 dedicated community volunteers. The President/CEO of The Community Foundation is a key civic leader in the region.
Position Summary
The Community Foundation is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as its next President/CEO. This position requires a passionate and strategic individual who can provide effective leadership and continue to grow the Foundation's donor pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Maintain Strong Community Presence: Enhance the Foundation's visibility and impact through networking, media outreach, partnership-building, and community engagement activities.
Provide Strategic Direction and Oversight: Develop, recommend, and implement clear strategic plans approved by the board, use data-driven insights to measure performance, and continuously adapt to keep the Foundation aligned with its mission.
Maintain Financial Sustainability and Budget Management: Lead budgeting efforts, monitor financial performance, and propose strategic resource allocations to sustain and grow the Foundation.
Fundraising and Donor Relations: Serve as the chief fundraiser to attract and close new donors while expanding existing relationships, ensuring the Foundation's financial stability and growth.
Operational Management: Direct every aspect of daily administration - resolving operational issues and ensuring continuously uninterrupted, fully functioning operations.
Ensure Regulatory and Operational Compliance: Oversee all organizational processes and fund administration, maintaining rigorous adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Manage and Develop Staff: Build a high-performing, mission-focused team through effective hiring, mentorship, performance reviews, and a supportive organizational culture.
Run and Manage All Active Committees: Recruit, onboard, lead, and operationally execute clearly defined objectives, driving measurable organizational outcomes.
Maintain a Robust and Effective Board: Proactively identify and recruit new board candidates, provide ongoing training, and ensure board members remain engaged, informed, and capable of advancing the Foundation's mission.

Communication Skills: Skilled at weaving narratives that resonate with different stakeholder groups, from large-scale philanthropic foundations to grassroots donors.
Inspirational: The personality to motivate staff, volunteers, and board members through a compelling vision of philanthropy's impact on Northwest Missouri's communities.
Nonprofit Leadership: Demonstrable success in a leadership role, preferably as an executive director, CEO, or senior manager within a nonprofit or philanthropic environment.
Fundraising: A record of meeting or surpassing fundraising goals, particularly in major gifts and planned giving. An ability to work with reasonably sophisticated financial and legal tools to promote real estate gifts, stock transfers, and bequests to The Community Foundation.
Financial Acumen: Ability to create, analyze, and manage budgets in a resource-constrained setting, make strategic cuts or investments, and remain transparent in reporting to the board and stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial Drive: Ability to balance the need for innovation with the realities of compliance and financial stewardship.
Hands-On Management: Willingness to take on frontline tasks - from donor cultivation to IT troubleshooting - ensuring no gap exists between strategy and execution.
Local Connections: Strong ties to and an understanding of the local community.
Compliance: A firm grasp of state and federal regulations, IRS guidelines, and ethical standards that govern charitable giving.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $105,000 - $110,000.
