Mr. Nambobi is a microfinance expert with 15 years’ experience in microfinance with strong Institutional Development and Staff Capacity Building skills.He began his career as a credit officer in FINCA Uganda in 1997 before assuming positions of credit supervisor and acting branch manager and in 2001 becoming the regional manager.Between 2002 and 2006, Mr. Nambobi was the deputy operations manager in charge of village banking and later supervision and policy compliance.In April 2006, he moved to Uganda Finance Trust as the Chief Manager Operations, a position he held up to April 2009 before becoming the Chief Operating Officer for FINCA Malawi, after which he joined Tujijenge Tanzania as the MD in April 2011 to December 2015 where he was instrumental in Institutional and Capacity Building. Mr. Nambobi has a Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Masters in Microfinance, Diploma in Banking Management and PGD in Financial Management, in addition to attending several Microfinance related courses and conferences.
