Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works closely with operations, customer service, and education teams to support cohesive customer experience and service optimization.
Build positive relationships with customers and community members through professional, respectful, and solutions-oriented interactions.
Knowledge and passion for working with local recycling and waste reduction resources.
Communicate with customers to ensure understanding of local and state recycling mandates (e.g., SB 1383, AB 341, AB 1826).
Supports outreach campaigns by delivering materials, posting signage, and conducting follow-ups.
Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports within excel independently
Create educational materials in Canva and Adobe
Comfortability navigating social media platforms

Reporting to the Facilities and Lands Administrator, this position may supervise staff and will serve as a key liaison between the Tribe and external housing agencies, partners, housing committee and stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor housing strategies, policies, and programs that align with the Tribe's goals and grant objectives.
Manage and oversee housing projects, ensuring compliance with Federal and State grant requirements, including NAHASDA.
Prepare and monitor housing program budgets; ensure Tribal Housing Plan expenditures align with budgeted line items.
Research, write, and submit grant applications for housing and related initiatives.
Prepare detailed reports of varying complexity, including application forms and processes for Tribal members to access program benefits.
Gather, compile, and evaluate statistical data (e.g., housing needs, income levels, employment) to project future needs and eligibility.
Research and interpret county planning and zoning records to determine legal property status and boundaries.
Prepare reports, charts, and visual materials for presentations to Executive Council, General Membership, and other stakeholders.
Conduct field inspections to assess housing needs and ensure compliance with local building and septic codes.
Determine and implement appropriate solutions for rehabilitative housing projects versus full replacements.
Serve as a technical resource on building codes, laws, and specifications; provide professional expertise to support Tribal members and staff.

Maintain accurate and organized housing files for all Federal and State grants as well as Tribal programs.
Collaborate with the Tribe's fiscal department for reporting and audits.
Review and analyze proposals and contracts to ensure compliance with grant, Tribal procurement policies and Davis-Bacon requirements.
Network with local, regional, and national housing organizations to advocate for Tribal housing needs.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Facilities and Lands Administrator and Executive Council.
Promote public education and outreach on housing programs and issues within the Tribal community.
Supervise assigned staff, including hiring, mentoring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Overview:

Maintain detailed, dated, and signed case records and reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Education and/or Experience
Masters Degree in Social Work is required.
