    Bowhead seeks a Wideband Watch Office (WBWO) Signal Analyst at Schriever Space Force Base. The Wideband Signals Analyst will be proficient in the duties of the Transmission Controller position at the Space Force's Wideband SATCOM Operations Centers (WSOC). The Wideband Watch Office provides oversight and monitoring of the Wideband SATCOM Operations and Management System Network (WSOMSNet) and engages Wideband SATCOM Operations Centers (WSOC) to maintain situational awareness of Wideband MILSATCOM's space-based assets and ground control infrastructure status. The Signal Analyst in the WBWO will report operational and maintenance issues to the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC). The WBWO utilizes the DOSS, CNPS, WRMS, and GTC3S as the primary tools to perform their oversight and monitoring tasks. Responsibilities * Shall provide Wideband Support as it relates to the duties of the Consolidated-Satellite Systems Expert (C-SSE). • Monitor and maintain Situational Awareness of all activities related to the WSOCs and RSSCs Reviewing proposed satellite command plans and provides troubleshooting assistance to the WSOCs, RSSCs, and SATCOM terminals. • Be familiar with and follow all Transmission Controller Operating Instructions contained in the Wideband Controllers Guide (WCG). • Review the Control Change Queue in CNPS; document changes to CNPS plans, Verify the performance of transmission links for all assigned satellites by using the WRMS. • Analyze appropriate 8-Hour Reports to verify transmission and terminal performance and status. Engage with WSOCs to perform adjustments necessary to achieve established operating parameters. Assist any WSOC in identifying, troubleshooting, and eliminating anomalous transmission and payload conditions. • Provide assistance with development and review of policy and procedural documents. • Report operational and maintenance issues to CSpOC, as required Perform all required reporting to the appropriate agencies. • Complete and submit DORs in accordance with the applicable guidance. • Coordinate enterprise terminal ASIs and emergency outages with appropriate agencies. • Review relevant DIMS Reports daily. • Review alarms for the past 24 hours in WRMS daily. • Complete and submit AARs in accordance with the applicable guidance. • Maintain situational awareness of WSOMS network using SolarWinds. * Assist with primary troubleshooting and anomaly resolution for all mission system within the WSOC's shift work providing 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year coverage support propagate a culture of safety in all aspects of the job. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications * A minimum of five (5) years Wideband Military SATCOM (WGS) planner, manager, and/or controller experience • Associate's Degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. Note: 2 years of related experience may be substituted for 1 year of education. • 5 years' experience working as a military SATCOM controller. • Security+ or equivalent vendor certification is preferred. • Experience in the use of IT tools. • Ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks. • Strong enterprise network troubleshooting (Cisco IOS(s), IP routing, EIGRP) Strong skill set with Microsoft Office software applications. • Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment Support critical operations during standard and non-standard working hours • Active DoD TS/ SCI or TS with SCI/ Eligibility clearance Preferred Experience DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g. Security + CE, CySA +, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, CND) • Experience implementing patches, scanning, remediating findings, auditing working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements • Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers • Ability to travel up to 10% SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a Top Secret security clearance with SCI access. (e.g., CODEC, AV, Gateways, TMS, Monitors, Projectors, AMX Panels)• Maintain currency with advancing technologies and provide recommendations for new technologies, including technology refresh, to the Government • Program and configure Extron, Crestron, AMX, and BIAMP systems for advanced AV deployments • Perform rack-level system configuration and testing and conduct troubleshooting and system validation for complex AV environments• Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and design teams to ensure successful deployments and day-to-day customer AV/VTC sessions• Provide timely programming updates for Extron and Crestron systems in response to outages and as project requirements evolve• Maintain accurate technical documentation, configuration files, commissioning reports and ensure systems comply with applicable DoD and DISA standards • Provide oversight of daily AV/VTC operations across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks • Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts for escalated AV/VTC issues, providing root cause analysis and system-level remediation • Interface with government leadership and external vendors to ensure operational continuity and technology alignment • Mentor and train junior AV/VTC personnel; provide advanced technical guidance and support • Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs and security documentation for AV/VTC operations Qualifications * A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science• Minimum of 10 years advanced experience in engineering and installing VTC/AV systems and with Crestron/Extron and AMX control programming and DSP audio installation for AV/VTC systems• Experience supporting and maintaining VTC/AV equipment and scheduling on the NIPRNET, SIPRNET, COE JWICS, GWAN, and GOLD networks• Excellent customer service skills including customer relationships, responsiveness, timely resolution of customer issues, and the ability to problem-solve creatively in time-sensitive situations• Core and Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Tasks (KSATs) defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 411 (Intermediate) CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Comp TIA Security + and at least one of the following: Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) Certification, Extron Authorized Programmer (EAP) Certification, Crestron Technician Certification, Extron Control Professional Certification, Extron Network AV Specialist• Python 3.x proficiency and Thinklogical Technology 300 are highly desired SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
