FINANCIALANALYST (L&MFA-2025-24009): * This position is Hybrid and only candidates within commutable distance to Bowhead locations will be considered. * Bowhead seeks a FinancialAnalyst (FA) who will complete and assist in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, trending and analysis. The FA is responsible for creating, updating, and analyzing budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities
The FA will track project expenses, update spend plans and month end accruals as needed. The FA is also responsible for reporting, making recommendations, and analyzing project financial status on a monthly basis at a minimum; completing scheduled and ad hoc financial data calls for internal and external customers; and maintain compliance with company, contract, and federal/state applicable regulations and policies. They will interface with Program Management and Support Services in the execution of their duties on a regular basis. This position may assist in the preparation of proposals for new and existing delivery orders.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
* Prepare cost estimates
* Develop spend plans
* Tracking actual obligations and expenditures versus planned using ERP and EDW
* Update Cobra spend plans at least monthly, track financial commitments and expenditures, participate in month-end-close duties to ensure financial data is accurate and in compliance with GAAP
* Compile financial data to provide to the Business Financial Manager to complete action items and data calls
* May work with leadership within assigned unit for financial planning and analysis at higher level than stand along projects
* Other duties as assigned to support Operational needs and goals
Qualifications
* This position is Hybrid and only candidates within commutable distance to Bowhead locations will be considered. *
* Five plus (5+) years professional finance or account experience
* Bachelors degree from nationally accredited university in a related field such as Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Degrees in other fields will be considered with successfully completed coursework in business, finance/accounting fields. Can substitute Bachelors Degree with additional years of work experience and/or Associates Degree or applicable certifications.
* Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Both desktop and O365 versions.
* *ALL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO DEMONSTRATE EXCEL ABILITIES IF SELECTED FOR INTERVIEW.*
* Intermediate to advanced level skills in basic computing skills including Windows-based systems and must be able to quickly and accurately perform data entry tasking in various software platforms.
* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
* Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
* Understanding of various government contract types such as Costs Plus, Fixed Price, T&M. Understanding of basic accounting functions and regulations
* Familiarity with Costpoint, Concur, Cobra, QlikView or similar systems
* Active secret clearance highly preferred
* Understanding of indirect rates drivers and ability to make recommendations to management on rate variance mitigation and management reserve/buffer
* Experience with large, high employee count projects or new high employee & sub count projects
* Leadership/Management experience or certifications. May be responsible for the training and/or mentorship of junior FAs
* Minimum of two years working in the GovCon industry
Physical Demands:

Transaction Execution: Support the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, strategic rationale development, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and closing.

Description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing and executing complex accounting functions that support accurate financial reporting and operational decision-making. This position manages general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, amortization, fixed assets, and accounts payable and receivable, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and established accounting policies. The Senior Accountant performs and reviews monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, investigates and resolves discrepancies, and prepares corrective entries as needed. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis by compiling and analyzing key metrics, preparing balance sheet reporting packages with meaningful commentary, and assisting with budget-to-actual reporting. Additionally, this position identifies and implements process improvements, leverages systems to increase efficiency, documents procedures, communicates changes to stakeholders, and provides guidance and oversight to other accounting team members as a subject matter expert.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Accounting Preparation & Support
Lead and perform general ledger functions including but not limited to amortization for prepaids, leases, various accruals, and management of fixed assets.
Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
Verify and/or determine codes and key data for invoices.
Research and escalate issues to achieve resolution.
Prepare and calculate significant and/or complex accounting processes.
Establish and communicate accounting policies by maintaining a thorough understanding of GAAP and new accounting guidance as needed.
Administer the corporate credit card program, sales commissions, and daily cycle counts.
Process accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, and enter data as needed.
Account Reconciliations
Monitor and reconcile assigned accounts on a monthly and/or quarterly basis.
Identify, research, and resolve reconciling items, escalating items to achieve resolution.
Prepare and submit journal entries to correct items discovered during reconciliations.
Provide guidance to team members regarding account reconciliations.
Budget, Forecasting, & Reporting
Perform accounting and financial analyses to identify key trends and support critical estimates, such as accruals and reserves.
Compile and analyze data and key metrics against forecasts and goals.
Prepare balance sheet reporting packages with meaningful commentary.
Assist with annual budgeting, forecasts, and budget-to-actual reporting.
Project & Process Improvement
Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Leverage systems and capabilities to identify new efficiencies.
Implement improvements and maintain/update documentation on assigned procedures.
Review, recommend, and/or lead process improvements, acting as SME as needed.
Communicate process changes to stakeholders.
Provide guidance and review work of other accounting team members as needed.

Experience

Technical Proficiency

(*Note: this is subject to change by management based on company and business needs, may or may not be eligible until 90+ days of employment/training period completion, will be determined and agreed on by management and employee, and contingent upon employees being in good standing).

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Accountant, Operations Accounting will report directly to the Manager, Operations Accounting in support of internal Cheniere clients, to assist with gathering operational-related financial information and reporting operations-led financial results. KNOWLEDGE

Calculate and input monthly accrual and correction/adjustment journal entries in Oracle ERP system.
Assist with completion of monthly analyses by comparing actual vs. budget/forecasted balances and research accounting transactions to confirm accuracy, validity, and understanding of financial activity.
Perform monthly account reconciliations for accounts assigned and ensure proper presentation of account balance.
Gather information from other Cheniere departments to understand non-recurring financial transactions, as needed.

About the Role:
The Analyst, Corporate Development and M&A will play a critical role in supporting Crusoe's inorganic growth strategy across its core sectors: Power, Industrial Process and Manufacturing, Real Estate and Software. What You'll Be Working On:
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Divestitures
Market Mapping and Origination: candidate will work across the organization's business units and functions in order to identify acquisition targets from a sector-first perspective. This includes creating and maintaining market maps, thematic research projects and direct outreach to targets.
Transaction Execution: Support the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, strategic rationale development, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and closing.
Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain complex financial models (Valuation and merger model, Accretion/Dilution analyses, and precedent transaction analyses) to evaluate potential acquisition

What You'll Bring to the Team:
