    As a member of the Energy Storage Advisory team within UL Solutions' North American Renewables business, the Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of Independent Engineering (IE) and Technical Advisory (TA) projects across the energy storage and solar + storage hybrid power sectors. The Project Manager is also client-facing, contributing directly to proposal development, relationship management, and growth of the advisory business through trusted client partnerships. The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong project management fundamentals, technical understanding, and business acumen. They are a proven seller-doer who can guide multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients at a senior level, and drive both delivery excellence and business growth. This role can be hybrid from Latham, NY, Houston, TX, Northbrook, IL, Oakland, CA, or remote in the United States. + Lead full-lifecycle delivery of Independent Engineering and Technical Advisory projects for financing, acquisition, and development of energy storage and hybrid renewable portfolios. + Serve as the primary client interface, managing communications, expectations, and relationships to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and cross-selling opportunities. + Oversee project execution across scope, schedule, budget, and risk. Develop and maintain execution plans, track progress, and proactively manage variances and change orders. + Guide multidisciplinary teams (engineering, financial, and environmental specialists) to ensure technical consistency, quality, and alignment with UL's standards. + Provide high-level technical direction to support the team's analysis and conclusions while maintaining focus on overall project objectives and client needs. + Manage project financials, including forecasting, invoicing, margin tracking, and ensuring commercial compliance with contract terms. + Support business development activities: contribute to proposal writing, pricing strategy, scope definition, and client presentations. + Drive client engagement and relationship growth through proactive communication, follow-up, and participation in industry events, conferences, and client reviews. + Facilitate project close-out activities including lessons learned, client debriefs, and internal process improvements. + Mentor junior staff in project management best practices and promote a culture of accountability and collaboration. + Represent UL at conferences and business development meetings. + Guide the business strategy and development for the due diligence team. + Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical discipline (electrical, mechanical, civil, or similar). + Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within a professional or technical services environment, ideally in renewable energy, energy storage, or grid infrastructure. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead multidisciplinary teams. + Proven experience in client-facing delivery, including proposal support, contract negotiation, and client relationship management. + Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex topics clearly to diverse audiences. + PMP or equivalent project management training preferred. + Ability to occasionally travel for conferences and project deliverables (less than 10%) Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The mechanical equipment may include ANSI (American National Standards Institute) pumps, various types of compressors, blowers, fans, gearboxes, mixers and agitators. Primary Responsibilities and Key Skills Maintaining and repairing all types of mechanical equipment. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and replacing defective equipment parts. Reading blueprints and design drawings. Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Procedure use - this includes field use, review, revision, and development of procedures. Instrument Technician Instrument Technicians install, maintain and repair the measuring and control instruments used in industrial processing. They work with a wide variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer instruments used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, and chemical composition to support the process plants. Primary Responsibilities and Key Skills Maintaining and repairing all types of instrument systems. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and replacing defective components on instrumentation. Reading electrical, logic, and loop diagrams. Electronic troubleshooting and repair skills. Procedure use - this includes field use, review, revision, and development of procedures. Qualifications Educational Requirements A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required. Individuals who are currently enrolled in high school or college or have graduated or received a GED within the last two years will be required to provide official transcripts/GED scores prior to being invited to an onsite interview. Must have completed Algebra or Technical Math and Science coursework in High School, per graduation requirements. Completion of Chemistry and / or Physics coursework in High School is preferred. Responsibilities: Represent SC at the Head / GM of LCS stakeholder staff on the delivery of the $230+M Factory Services business. Drive internal SC functions to deliver on the LCS strategic growth plans. Work with LCS BU to support core SC priorities and requirements. Represent SC at LCS QBW and BU exec reviews. Engage with market category and sales leaders to review delivery/cost performance and to partner on business growth initiatives. Engage with LCS product management to develop and execute the factory services portfolio and roadmap. Work within SC to deliver on cost savings requirements and the technology enablement to deliver. Partner with factory operations and SC engineering to manage the on-time and quality delivery of configured PCs from our WW factories. Flawlessly and timely manage all factory services escalations. Lead cross functional teams (BU, SC, Factory, IT, Sales, Category) to drive containment, corrective action, root cause, and prevention. Effective communication to align exec stakeholders and customers. Develop and implement comprehensive Supply Chain Factory Services strategies that encompasses pan-SC functional capabilities (engineering, logistics, factory) to deliver best in class capabilities to enable double digit YoY growth for LCS. Oversee the development and management of the SC Factory Service cost/budget, providing regular updates to senior management on performance, challenges, and opportunities. Qualifications: Demonstrated success in highly complex Supply Chain business environment that requires multi-functional collaboration and conflict management. Financial Acumen - Unique mastery in operational budget/cost management, able to see the financial effects and relationships of various aspects of the business and can effortlessly communicate upstream and downstream implications of a decision's impact on financial performance.
