Knowledgeable in physical science or Engineering High School or GED - or working toward an Engineering Degree. Able to use basic laboratory equipment and tools. Knowledge of PC/Windows software (Word, Excel). Good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledgeable and experience with laboratory QA/QC plans, manuals, and procedures. Highly motivated in completing assignments correctly and on schedule. Ability to work efficiently and independently. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in physical science, Engineering, or related field. Familiarity with data acquisition systems. Familiarity with HVAC, refrigeration, basic control systems. Understanding of and experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS). Experience with measuring equipment, i.e. Calipers or Micrometer. Experience with laboratory notebook upkeep. Experience with coatings evaluations.
