Learning skills and sales and marketing strategies. Worked in collaborative Teams with the vendors to upsell as well as meet our numbers and our goals. It’s definitely an independent environment, where you know your duties and obligations and you complete them. Very fast space environment definitely involves a lot of communication as well as organizational skills. Opportunity and it gives you the experience you can explore more options.
Communication lack of awareness and somewhat laziness on the managers zones as well as favoritism bias and discrimination when it comes to medical background.
25% off
They could benefit from giving a little bit more to their employee and offering more support as well as empowering us to make those numbers by attending and caring about the needs and mental health of the staff.
More diversity, less bias, and favoritism understanding that your employer bringing in the revenue so they deserve acknowledgment as well as perks. Higher raises, More discounts, More offers offered for the year to take off for family for yourself, etc.
Having confidence and understanding what you’re praying for in the passion and that you have for the industry that you’re choosing to be in the interview very smooth. I can professionally dress, and I come ready to express why I deserve the position.
It doesn’t compare the numbers don’t match.
I don’t feel confident in it. I think it has a lot of work that needs to be done.
My clients, their satisfaction, their appreciation and the success of my collaborations with vendors and my team.
Great atmosphere and positive people.
Covid made it difficult to give clients the usual comfortable hairdressing experience.
Extensive product sales and selection
I like the discount on the the products I receive
Having to stand during whole shift. The rude managers. Not enough money.
The discount I get
I really like the customers, and learning about products.
It has been one of the most toxic environments I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. It's worst than a middle school group of girls.
50% off salon services.
beauty products and services
unstable Management
the product knowledge training
My manager team and benefits
One employee can ruin it for all
Free products and talking with clients
It's a fun environment to learn more about beauty and exploring what you like and interacting with customers in a more personal way by exchanging personal suggestions and genuinely liking when customers enjoy a product you suggested!
The somewhat competitive/judgemental working environment to know the most about the beauty industry and display it through how you dress and do your makeup and pressure to always be up on the latest trends
The employee discounts are great!!
Very hands on. My managers were understanding when mistakes were made, and there were many opportunities for growth and promotion.
I loved my job at Ulta Distribution, although I feel that not everyone was treated equally. There were many of us who had been given much more demanding tasks, whilst others didn’t seem to have to do anything that they were not a fan of doing.
Free merchandise. Once a month or more, employees were given goodie boxes/bags full of slightly damaged product, worth anywhere from 5-500 dollars.
Collaboration, team work, also independency
Insufficient clientele
Available health care, discount on products
Very flexible hours, understanding management
Very long commute
Free services, discounts on products
I enjoyed being around my co workers everyone seemed to get along we never had big issues the time that I worked there. The job itself wasn't as stressful like other jobs I've had. The most stressful customers you get would be the ones that complained about a coupon and that was pretty much it other than that the job was pretty easy and the pay was more than minimum wage and hours were pretty decent with at least 15-30 hours for being part time in my area.
Theres being a Beauty Advisor or Prestige Beauty Advisor and I was the Beauty Advisor which you were basically the person trapped at the cashier. I felt like I did a good job working getting done what had to be done always showing up on time to work. But I felt like managers didn't really care I mean they would say good job or give me a pat on the back and that was about it. Working at Ulta you get "gratis" and free training of new products and I never got to be apart of that because I wasn't "Prestige" but I remember working with this one girl and she was one of the Prestige Beauty Advisors and most of the co workers complained about her not doing her job, being late, calling out, yet she got to be apart of the trainings and get free products just because her title being prestige and that just shows how managers definitely have their favorites.
I liked the discount and being around makeup and getting to know when the next new thing will come out.
