Collaborate with Imaging Coordinators to ensure all pertinent information is well documented and accounted for. Ensures patients are seen at their appointment time and must be notified if there are any delays. Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality. Completes and signs Patient Screening form and explains the procedure to the patient. Maintains patient care, comfort, and safety during transport to and from the exam table and during the exam. Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company sponsored training programs. Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures. Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members. Maintains a clean environment in the exam and control rooms Minimum Requirements High School Graduate - or equivalent. Require candidate be ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) registered or registry eligible GI, Liver Doppler and TIPS Evaluation experience desired.
