Position Requirements
Formal Education / Training:
Graduate of an approved ultrasound school and subsequent Accreditation through ARDMS. May be registered in OB/GYN, ABDOMEN, and BREAST, VASCULAR.
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Workplace Experience:
Preference of two years' work experience in hospital after graduation and accreditation; however, willing to train.
Equipment and Skills Training:
Will train on specific equipment and processes utilized at Williamson Medical Center.
Physical Environment:
Multimodality imaging department that provides OB/GYN, Abdominal, Vascular and Pelvic ultrasound studies, to include Pediatric Imaging.
Physical Effort:
Possesses the ability to perform multifunctional tasks to include: physically manipulate and operate
equipment, assist in the movement of patients from wheelchairs to stretchers; bend, twist, stoop; lift 20 pounds; communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing; make appropriate judgement decisions in urgent or emergency situations; and demonstrate emotional stability and psychological health in day to day interaction with fellow employees, patients, their families, and physicians.
