We are a Private Medical Practice with multiple locations seeking a full time Ultrasound Sonographer to join our quickly growing team.
Ultrasound Technologist would be Responsible for:
· Operating ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic
· Ultrasound exams according to established standards and practice.
· Provide patient services using imaging modalities.
· Provide patient care to a variety of age groups.
· Completing all aspects of patient care documentation.
· Protocols include: GYN, Fetal Viability, OB in all trimesters, multiple gestations, Bio -physicals, dating and growth scans
· Used independent judgment and applied learned methodologies according to established procedures
· Performed all required ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level requiring limited supervision
· Demonstrated computer skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills with patients, family, and staff
· Performs OB scans of abdominal and transvaginally.
· Performs first trimester scans, including NT measurements.
· Performs follicle scans (transvaginally).
· Performs GYN scans, both abdominal and transvaginally.
· Assists in sonohysterograms.
· Performs 3D/4D imaging for both OB and GYN scans.
· Maintain ultrasound equipment.
· Maintain high standard of patient care in busy ultrasound dept.
· Works independently in providing high level scans, to assist physicians in their diagnosis.
Requirements
Requirements:
•Graduate of AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
•Must be ARDMS registered
•Minimum 2 years' experience
•Experience in OB/GYN Private Practice, 3D ultrasound preferred
