Position Summary Primary Vascular Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our growing mobile vascular team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality vascular ultrasound services directly within long-term care facilities. This position is ideal for a vascular sonographer who enjoys independence, variety, and working within a supportive team environment. Candidates who are not currently vascular certified are still encouraged to apply; we offer up to one year after hire to obtain the certification. What You'll Do Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment according to PVC protocols Confirm patient identity and review clinical documentation Perform vascular and venous ultrasound exams, including venous reflux studies Capture diagnostic-quality images and obtain additional images as needed Use proper patient positioning and ergonomic scanning techniques Document findings, limitations, and incidental findings accurately Follow HIPAA guidelines and infection-control protocols Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; report issues promptly Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative teams Support quality standards and participate in ongoing training Perform other duties as assigned by management What We're Looking For Required: Completion of an accredited vascular or ultrasound program BLS Certification Strong competency in vascular ultrasound imaging and documentation Comfortable using PACS and EMR systems Reliable vehicle and clean driving record (mobile role) Not listed on the OIG exclusion list Professional, dependable, and able to work independently Reliable transportation (personal vehicle) required Preferred (Not Required): Certification: RVT or RVS (ARDMS or CCI) Experience in vascular sonography Experience performing venous insufficiency studies Experience in long-term care or outpatient vascular settings Familiarity with endovenous treatment workflows Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Mileage reimbursement 401(k) plan

Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position Preferred Qualifications: Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS) Current ARRT Certification in Sonography Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position Summary: The High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech specializes in performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies. They ensure accurate, high-quality imaging, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide detailed findings to consulting providers while prioritizing patient education, safety, and comfort. Essential Work Functions: Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate Observe and record patient status and progress Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice Required Essential Skills: Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language is required Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities - Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending Interpersonal Skills - To work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
