As an Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, vascular, and musculoskeletal exams - Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times - Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain the best possible images - Evaluate images for technical quality and make adjustments as needed - Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols - Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements - Assist with maintaining equipment and supplies, and report any malfunctions or deficiencies - Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families Qualifications: - Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field - ARDMS certification or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of hire - At least 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech - Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills - Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
