    Ultrasound technologist job in Chillicothe, OH

    This position is for a Registered General Sonographer who is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the abdomen, small parts, obstetric, and breast regions in accordance with established protocols and physician requests. The sonographer ensures patient comfort and safety, demonstrates strong technical skills, and provides accurate and complete imaging studies for radiologist interpretation. This position has direct patient care, access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with the radiologist, manager and the staff. This individual works under the indirect supervision of the Team Lead and Radiology Manager. This position would work as needed to cover PTO requests from our 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd shift sonographers. This does include holiday and weekend coverage as needed. Key Responsibilities: Perform ultrasound examinations including: Abdominal (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, etc.) Small parts (thyroid, testicular, superficial structures) Obstetric (first, second, and third trimester studies) Breast ultrasound (diagnostic and screening)
