Job Title: Vascular Ultrasound Technologist- RVT/RVS Reports To: Practice Administrator Perform a variety of specialized technical tasks using state of the art ultrasound technologies that will collect reflected echoes and form images that are interpreted for use in diagnosis and treatment by the physician. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Prepares medical equipment, instruments, sterile procedures and medical supplies. Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures which include proper positioning, adequately explaining procedures to patients and relieving fear and concern of the patient. Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound studies, demonstrating expertise in carrying out Level 1 ultrasounds including growth and doppler scans. Competency in Level 2 obstetrical ultrasound procedures and NT is preferred.
