Post-Procedure Care: Assist the patient after the procedure, ensuring they are stable and comfortable before leaving the examination room. Remove any gel from the patient's skin and offer tissues or towels for cleaning. Provide patients with aftercare instructions, especially if additional follow-up appointments or tests are required. Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director, the Ultrasound Technologist is a specialized medical professional that uses sound waves to image the human body.
