Validates all images and corrects incorrect information prior to sending to VISTA for interpretation by the Radiologist. Help to maintain effective control for the Radiology Department by coordinating organizing and executing the work potential to expedite workflow patterns with the department. Continuously works to develop a cohesive and effective team with other areas of the Radiology Department and with other areas of the entire facility to expedite quality patient care. Ensures that adequate supplies for general Radiology are available to meet workload demands. Assures that procedure rooms are always stocked with necessary supplies, with special attention to emergent equipment and supplies. Alerts supervisor when supplies are needed. Responsible to explain exams to competent patients so that patients understand what is to be done as well as what hazards, if any, are possible. Qualifications: Education: Graduate from an approved School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Experience: Minimum 2 (two) year experience in specialty. Certification: ARMDS Certification.
