American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) board certification; Abdomen and Physics certification required and will be verified prior to employment. Certificate of completion from a recognized and accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and will be verified prior to employment. BLS certification is required and will be verified prior to employment. Maintain CME requirements as required by ARDMS and will periodically be verified throughout employment. In some instances, UUG may offer employment to a board-eligible candidate; that individual will have 1 year from the date of hire to pass both the Physics and Abdomen portions of the boards.
