Schedule would be 10am to 6pm to include 1 to 2 weekends a month.
Opportunity Details:
Assists in the orientation of new hires, training of ultrasound students and training/supervision of students rotating from the School of Radiologic Technology.
Performs portable ultrasound exams on rotating basis.
Will be required to rotate through all tours inclusive of weekends.
Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
Qualifications:
ARDMS certification in Ultrasonography required.
Associate Degree.
Satisfactory completion of a course in Diagnostic Ultrasound in an AMA approved school.
Proven Clinical competency in Abdominal, OB/GYN, Neonatal, and Vascular Ultrasound.
Responsible to maintain 30 CME credits within a 3-year rolling period for recertification annually.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for providing our patients with the best care and experience while working with the entire staff to perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies. In addition, the Ultrasound Technologist works closely with the radiologists to gather medical images and have a great opportunity to ensure an efficient and patient-focused experience during their procedure.
The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis by the radiologist.

Requirements:
At least one year working at a hospital experience or working independently is preferred.
