Major Responsibilities: Conduct thorough health histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations tailored to patient age and history. Order and interpret diagnostic tests; analyze findings to establish differential diagnoses. Collaborate with physicians to formulate and manage patient care plans, ensuring patient involvement in decision-making. Manage treatment protocols for patients with acute illnesses, adjusting plans as needed to meet health goals. Document patient outcomes and communicate effectively with physicians and care teams. Prescribe medications within scope of practice and comply with regulatory requirements.
