About the Role: The Loan Servicing Project Specialist serves as a subject matter expert with responsibility for planning, organizing, administering, and/or leading short-term initiatives of varying scope within a division(s) and/or department(s). The Loan Servicing Project Specialist may work on several projects concurrently. Develops tactical plans to implement projects. Manages resources to ensure that projects are implemented in the most cost-effective manner. May negotiate agreements/contracts with outside vendors or entities and ensures commitments are met. Communicates the purpose of the project to internal constituencies and/or external customers/community members. Develops and implements measures to determine and monitor effectiveness of projects. May provide training to others regarding features and benefits of projects. May be required to represent the company in the community. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Also structure the loan program to suit the borrower's needs. Work in a faced paced environment and apply knowledge of loan programs and guidelines to structure a loan that fits the borrower's goals. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access and Power point Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop working relations with business associates at a positive level Mathematical skill - ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Knowledge mortgage underwriting systems: AUS, DO, DU High School diploma 1+ years mortgage industry experience Experience with pulling and analyzing credit report DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Knowledge mortgage underwriting systems: AUS, DO, DU Ability to evaluate credit reports Be familiar with various mortgage loan products - CHFA, FNMA, FHLMC, Conventional Analyzes and interprets financial data to fit established parameters set by industry. Maintain a secure environment for loan process files. Good moral ethics conduct. Communicates any concerns on possible misrepresentation or fraudulent documentation/activity to Branch Manager and/or Processing Supervisor, if necessary.
