About the Role:
The Data Center Technology Manager is responsible for managing and monitoring the Data Centers including all IT related infrastructure systems (Power, HVAC, space and rack systems, cable, physical security, etc.), core infrastructure systems within the data center space (server, storage, virtualization) and cloud hosted server virtual infrastructure. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of managing the data center technologies including meeting SLA and uptime targets, ensuring that changes and releases are completed successfully, monitoring and capacity planning of data center services, The incumbent will be responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of data center hardware and software within the organization. The Data Center Technology Manager will develop and implement processes and procedures that are consistent with industry best practices managing data centers and will be able to define procedures directly related to the activities listed below without supervision. Additionally, and while working within the data center team structure and within its standards, regularly takes initiative to define and propose process improvements and exhibits personal ownership of assigned projects and maintenance roles.
Manage a Data Center Operations Team responsible for the installation, maintenance and operation of data center hardware and infrastructure.
Ensures electrical, HVAC, and other data center environmental systems are routinely monitored and warning and alarms are timely inspected and triaged.
Develop and manage processes which support efficient equipment installations (servers, switches, routers and storage), timely equipment repair and upgrades, rapid troubleshooting of issues with hardware and Linux OS, and tracking issues, reporting and managing key metrics.
Maintain complete and accurate inventories of all data center assets, configurations, cable plant layout etc. in banks CMDB and other systems as required.
Tracks when preventative maintenance on environmental systems are due, schedules and assists vendors with PMs, and assists data center manager with timely renewal of PM contracts. Identifies improved service levels for current vendors and looks for superior alternative vendors.
Regularly validates server room access authorization and assists in recommending and implementing improvements to the security systems.
Maintain budgetary responsibility for all data center and infrastructure capital and operational costs ensuring that costs remain within budget and capital investments while maintaining uptime, supportability and adequate capacity.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

About You:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

About the Role:
In this role, you will engage in development, execution, and implementation of statistical, mathematical, economic, and financial models for business decision making, risk assessment and strategic initiatives. Successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn different models and modeling techniques that are used at the bank including but not limited to: financial planning models, fraud detection models, customer analytics, credit risk management, anti-money laundering and asset liability management. This position will assist in completing model validation requirements for a variety of financial and non-financial models used across the bank. Working with stakeholders across the bank, you will provide advice on model selection, implementation, and usage.
Design, estimate, implement, test, document and maintain statistical models for default and loss severity forecasting for retail and commercial loan portfolios. Utilize data mining and statistical techniques to develop analytic insights, sound hypotheses, and informed recommendations.
Conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses, modeling, or programming using DataBricks, SQL, R, or Python.
Partner with business units to identify their business needs and develop, implement, and manage modeling solutions in accordance with SR 11-7. Assist business units in assessing quality of model inputs/outputs through back testing against realized outcomes, benchmarking against alternative models and other relevant tests. Recommend short- term and long-term model monitoring solutions based on the nature and tier of the model.
Research and Develop quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks and establish conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model. Assess conceptual foundations of a model, model specification, underlying assumptions, limitations, variable selection, underlying data, developmental evidence, documentation.
Interview model developers/vendors and model owners to understand the business context for model use and facilitate the adoption of model risk management standards. Keep up to date with any banking regulations affecting model risk management practices across the bank.
Advocate quantitative practices across the bank. Propose and execute model validation tests for new and existing models in the inventory.
Assist manager in production of regular and ad-hoc reports on individual and Bank-level model findings for Senior Management and regulators.
Coordinate with model validation team on any changes to the Bank's model inventory or End user Applications.
About You:
Master's Degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, financial engineering, quantitative finance, or actuarial sciences required.
Doctoral degree or equivalent experience preferred.
2-4 years in banking or financial services as a Data Scientist, Statistician, Quantitative Risk Analyst, Model Developer, Model Validator, or similar required.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to model risk management (FRB/OCC SR 11-7), Basel II/III capital requirements, and Dodd-Frank Act Stress Testing (DFAST).
Advanced understanding of statistical modeling, econometric forecasting, machine learning, data extraction and processing techniques; and demonstrated ability to apply such methods.
Experience with analytics software (Python, PySpark, R, Matlab, Excel VBA, SQL), relational databases and/or cloud computing platforms like Azure or AWS.
Possess communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to translate complex statistical or economic theories and analysis into practical implications for business teams and Senior Management.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Ability to proactively learn newly emerging statistical, econometric, and mathematical modeling techniques, and understand the implications of their use in a banking organization.

The Senior Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing mortgage loan packages to ensure applications are complete and compliant.
* Completes file review of all mortgage loan packages making sure applications are complete and consistent.

About the Role:
Procures, engages, and reviews complex and non-complex commercial valuation products delivered to the bank to ensure compliance with USPAP, FIRREA, IAEG, and Columbia Bank policy. Communicates with partnering lines of business to address appraisal or collateral risk issues. Works closely with management to increase staff competency in all aspects of commercial appraisal. Assists in the mentoring of junior level staff. Provides subject matter expertise to address escalations and/or reconsiderations of appraisal concerns. Participates in the development of commercial appraisal bank policy and guidelines.
* Procures bids and awards for commercial real estate appraisal vendor RFPs in the fulfillment of complex commercial valuation products utilized for the credit lending decision.
* Reviews incoming complex valuation products for credible methodology and compliance with SOW, USPAP, FIRREA, IAEG, and bank policy.
* Develops USPAP (compliance or technical) commercial appraisal and evaluation reviews to be utilized in the bank's credit lending and/or portfolio management decisions.
* Assures compliance with Fair Lending Practices and Appraisal Independence.
* Provides subject matter expertise on complex commercial appraisal methodology and appraisal regulatory requirements. Ability to communicate these requirements as applicable to address valuation questions from line of business partners and/or auditors.
* May prepare FIRREA/USPAP compliant appraisals, appraisal validations, corrective appraisal reviews and/or evaluations for Columbia Bank.
* Assists Special Assets and Credit Quality with impairment analysis for real estate secured credits, as needed.
* Manage and prioritize work queue to meet turn-time deadlines. Triage workload with thoughtful consideration of loan level data. Meet or exceed review production goals in-line with department's benchmarks.
* Maintains compliance with the department system of record and appraisal work file requirements
* Assist in the development of valuation solutions based upon subject expertise, representing the department at a broader level.
* Occasionally assist management with the overall operation of the valuation program and/or lead working group projects.
* Mentors junior level appraisers and encourages increased competency in all aspects of commercial valuation.
* Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

About You:
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field or the equivalent in education and experience required.
* Active State Certified General License required
* 10+ years of relevant commercial appraisal review experience or combination of commercial appraisal review and appraisal field work required.
* Strong multi-state experience reviewing commercial real estate appraisals. Real estate property type specific expertise (Low Income Housing Tax Credit LIHTC, Special Purpose, etc.) and national review experience a plus

About the Role:
