Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

What we want you to do:
Job Duties
Manage inventory, including placing orders with vendors to ensure the market is well-stocked
Oversee market-day operations such as delivery management, stocking, cleaning, signage, and volunteer support
Manage checkout process with market participants, ensuring accurate transaction processing and record-keeping while providing excellent customer service to market families
Coordinate with the health and wellness and kitchen teams for necessary supplies
Identify and address gaps in food and supply offerings, ensuring a broad selection
Recruit, schedule, and orient volunteers to support market operations
Work closely with the marketing team to promote market events and offerings
Partner with other departments to address market issues and implement solutions
Maintain compliance with grant provisions, partner requirements, and food safety best practices
Support the Manager in managing the budget and preparing reports for stakeholders
Monitor and implement program goals and ensure all documentation is up to date
Perform general facilities and housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, and taking out recycling to maintain a safe and clean environment
Pick up food and supplies using the company van from local food bank partners, such as Food Bank of the Rockies, and ensure safe transport and unloading
Role requires frequent heavy lifting and being on your feet most of the day
What you must have:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 years of experience in public health, food systems, or food security preferred, and a minimum of 1 year customer service experience .
Skills:
Strong Communication skills in both verbal and written capacity
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of food security issues and their community health impact
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including CBI/FBI fingerprinting. MVR and a national sex offender registry check
