Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Our Uniformed Division's mission is to protect facilities and venues secured for U.S. Secret Service protectees. Throughout its history, the Uniformed Division has accomplished this mission through individuals who embody honor, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Today, the Uniformed Division has grown both in size and scope of responsibility and is mandated by law to provide physical security for the White House Complex and the vice president's residence at the Naval Observatory. It also provides security for the Treasury Department building and foreign diplomatic missions in Washington, D.C. The Uniformed Division also has specialized teams including Counter Sniper, Emergency Response, K-9, and more.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.

Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

Cardinal Point Security Group is building a team of Security Officers who will facilitate a safe learning environment and keep students, staff, and faculty safe from violence.
Pay: $ 25.00
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday - Friday
This is a 10-month position, with 2 months off during the summer. Schedule includes regular school hours and occasional after-school and weekend events.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Be a Cardinal Point Ambassador: Be on time. Look sharp in proper uniform. Be engaged. Be consistent
Coach and mentor students
Incident Management and de-escalation
Maintains orderly flow of foot traffic in the hallways
Monitors restrooms throughout the day
Reports maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel
Walks up to 10,000 steps per day to patrol school facilities and grounds to prevent access to restricted areas, theft, or vandalism
Stands for up to four hours per day
Act as First responder for emergencies
Stands post at secondary locations as required
Identify and report suspicious activity
Cultivate positive relationships with staff and students

Basic Qualifications:
Five years of experience as an armed security officer
Three years of experience as a security officer in a school setting
Must possess a valid PA Act 235 Certification
Must possess a valid PA Concealed Carry Permit
Must possess your own firearm.
Must be able to pass firearms qualification course.
Able to work well under pressure.
High School Diploma or GED.
Consent to a drug screen and completing criminal background investigation.
Consent to obtain required clearances for working in school.
No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Ensure a fun and safe environment for our guest
* Interact in a professional and calm manner with our guests
* Patrol and monitor recreation areas, such as, indoor and outdoor pools, and splash pad
* Rescue distressed person, using rescue techniques and appropriate equipment
* Contact emergency medical personnel in case of a serious injury
* Contact MOD immediately if an incident occurs
* Examine injured person
* Warn guests in the recreational areas of inclement weather, unsafe areas, or illegal conduct
* Maintain quality of pool water by testing chemical levels
* Inspect recreational equipment and areas for any potential danger
* Inspect recreational areas for cleanliness, make sure all outdoor areas are free of trash or hazards
* Observe activities in your assigned area, watching for any dangerous actions, or odd behaviors by guests in the recreation area
* Document or write incident reports immediately and thoroughly
* Follow all safety guidelines and policies
