What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

The Parking Enforcement Officer is a civilian employee with the Haverford Township Police Department. This role is responsible for compliance with local parking regulations by patrolling assigned areas, issuing citations, and assisting the public with related inquiries.
This is a part-time position and requires extended walking and standing in all types of weather.
Essential Functions:
It shall be the primary responsibility of parking enforcement officers to monitor the following parking violations, and where necessary, issue tickets to violators:
Township owned parking meters
Township owned parking lots
Handicapped parking spaces
Fire Lane violations
Vehicles parked too close to the corner
Permit Parking Areas
Use handheld devices or manual methods to issue citations
Provide information to motorists about parking rules
Respond to complaints and inquiries professionally
Educate the public on parking regulations and safety
Report damaged or malfunctioning meters and signage
Responsible for the maintenance and collection of meters
Parking Enforcement Officers

to cover open Crossing Guard posts
