Build, maintain, and grow a book of business
Manage agency relationships and serve as lead client contact

Day to Day Responsibilities
Maintain and update CRM records to ensure data accuracy, workflows, lead information and full pipeline visibility.
Provide valuation-based guidance to field representatives during negotiation and contract phases.
Collaborate with the Construction team to create detailed scopes of work based on ROI and value impact.
Communicate projected renovation costs and value lift to support purchase strategy.
Collaborate with the Dispositions team to set strategic wholesale pricing and approve offers.
Work with the Transaction Coordinator (TC) to determine list prices for renovated and new construction properties.
Recommend pricing adjustments for properties on the market based on market conditions and feedback.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Google Sheets for data modeling, tracking, and analysis.
Work with one KEY MLS to research property details and manage listing information.
Review and interpret property records and parcel data using GeoData.
Property Evaluation and Underwriting
Analyze on- and off-market deals to determine offer/monetization strategy and Maximum Allowable Offer (MAO)
Conduct Highest and Best Use analysis for: Wholesale, fix & flip, teardown & new builds, retail MLS resale, and rentals
Prepare full valuation packets: After repair value (ARV) comps, land vs improvement value, rehab estimates, exit strategy analysis and risk assessment
Construction & Renovation Estimates
Prepare accurate repair estimates for: Cosmetic renovations, full gut rehab, additions/dormers and new construction.
Identify major red flags such as foundation issues, mechanical problems and functional obsolescence.
Market, Zoning and Trend Analysis
Review local zoning, setbacks, and buildable areas
Analyze market trends, supply/demand, local comps, and neighborhood and market shifts
Offer and Deal Strategy
Produce written MAO calculations for scenarios
Recommend final offer & exit plans to leadership
Support acquisition representatives during negotiation and contract phases
Track deals from due diligence through closing
Contracts, Legal, and Compliance
Coordinate with the TC to ensure all contracts and documents for properties under contract move through the pipeline promptly.
Ensure full compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, regulations, and laws.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The **National Accounts Strategic Underwriter** is responsible for providing strategic and analytical underwriting support for national account clients. Responsibilities
A Credit Underwriter III is responsible for spreading complex financial statements in accordance with Bank standards, while preparing Credit Offering Memorandums on complex borrowers in cooperation with Commercial Lenders for Bank approval. Job Description
This position is involved in the review and appraisal of applications for insurance placement . Uses knowledge and independent judgment to determine eligibility of risks when compared to guidelines of programs available. Interacts with Companies and Brokers via telephone, e-mail, regular mail and personal contact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews applications for insurance coverage, reports from loss control consultants and other information to determine if application is acceptable for the program(s) available.
Evaluate the experience of a risk against the class of business under review.
Evaluate the loss potential due to catastrophe, severity, and/or frequency.
May rate policies or check previously rated policies for proper rating.
Utilizes knowledge of automated systems to develop information for new or renewal policies.
Prepares quotations for agents and answers questions from agents, policyholder, or prospects.
Assists agents with comments or questions about applications and the likelihood of acceptance by the company.
Reviews requests for cancellation, endorsements, etc.
Reviews policies for renewal consideration.
Request additional documentation necessary for the processing of an application, endorsement or cancellation.
Conduct marketing visits to agents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have Producer's License.
3 plus years of insurance experience.
Prior exposure to insurance underwriting type activities.
Basic familiarity with computers.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay attention to details.
Resourceful and controlled assertive behavior characteristics.
Must have demonstrated negotiation skills
Technical knowledge of insurance coverage forms and their application to exposure.
Knowledge of departmental regulations and policies.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted underwriting practices.
Strong interpersonal skills working with Staff and Company Underwriters
Experience in standard underwriting practices and procedures.
Associated classes or courses and/or industry license, or designation.
