Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Assists in the review and evaluation of applications, ensuring they align with Company policies and underwriting guidelines. Works closely with underwriters and brokers/agents to gather additional information and clarify application details. Reviews relevant data, including financial statements, property valuations, and loss histories to assist with risk assessment. Assists in maintaining underwriting files, ensuring all documents and approvals are properly filed. Compiles reports on risk evaluations, policy statuses, and portfolio performance for underwriters and management. May underwrite new and renewal policy transactions within written authority. May enter policy information on an assigned product, territory and / or agency in accordance with template rules. Assists with reviewing premium and loss data on an individual account as part of renewal underwriting, change underwriting, or mid-term underwriting.
