In this critical role, you will be responsible for the precise weighing and mixing of ingredients for production batches, ensuring strict conformance to specifications and batch records. This position offers an opportunity to operate and maintain specialized equipment and cross-train in other vital functions within our manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Weighing and Blending: Accurately weigh and issue ingredients using various scales and blending equipment as specified by batch records. Equipment Management: Operate, clean, disassemble, assemble, and set up manufacturing equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times and adhere strictly to all company policies, cGMP's (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOPs to protect against contamination and ensure production efficiency. Documentation: Complete required documentation for cleaning, equipment setup, and manufacturing process data in log books and batch records with high accuracy. Quality & Monitoring: Perform In-Process Sampling according to instructions, monitor equipment performance to identify malfunctions, and inspect equipment for wear and tear. Troubleshooting: Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and report major repair needs to the Production Manager. Teamwork: Collaborate with other Weigh-up Specialists and manufacturing personnel to complete operations and support the overall production schedule. Inventory & Material Handling: Properly label and handle all materials pulled from inventory and weighed for individual batches. Training: Cross-train in other positions to support overall production goals and career development. Competencies & Skills: Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to maintain a systematic and clean work environment. Ethical Conduct: High integrity in following protocols and recording data. Problem Solving/Analysis: Aptitude for minor equipment troubleshooting and problem resolution. Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to follow instructions and complete documentation.
