We are seeking a versatile Human Capital Management (HCM) Training Project Lead to join our Functional Training team. This role will be responsible for planning, developing, executing, and continuously improving training to support the implementation of Oracle HCM for all UniFirst users. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure that the training and documentation align with organizational needs and business objectives.
You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive training and documentation strategy that maximizes user engagement, fosters system adoption, and ensures users are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage Oracle HCM's full capabilities. You will also track and measure the effectiveness of training programs to continuously improve and adapt to the organization's evolving needs. Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and manage the organization's Oracle HCM training and documentation strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
* Collaborate with HR and IT to implement Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) into the overall training and documentation plan.
* Oversee the creation of a comprehensive training and documentation strategy and plan, which includes onboarding, new feature training, support documentation, job aids, quick reference guides, etc.
* Develop and implement blended learning approaches (e.g., instructor-led, eLearning, hands-on exercises, virtual training) to accommodate diverse learning preferences.
* Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that training and documentation deliverables are relevant, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
* Monitor user adoption rates and feedback to refine and improve training content and delivery methods continuously.
* Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training and documentation, such as user proficiency, training completion rates, and system usage improvements.
* Track training results utilizing scorecards and measures, to accurately report to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas of focus for ongoing training initiatives.
* Maintain strong relationships with external training vendors or consultants as needed to support specialized training needs or initiatives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
* Relevant work experience
* 3+ years of experience in HCM, preferably with Oracle Fusion Cloud in training and documentation, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
* Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training strategies/programs, with a focus on adult learning principles and instructional design.
* Experience with technical writing and creating/overseeing end-user support documentation.
* Experience overseeing and working with a team coordinating large-scale training and documentation initiatives.
* Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate, etc.), and virtual training tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear, engaging manner.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management to align training with organizational goals.
* High level of customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional instructional design, project management, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Ability to understand and translate complex technical information.
* Proficiency in technical authoring software is a plus, such as MadCap Flare or Click Help.
